Shockingly disorganized! Even sitting overlooking the kitchen at the bar, no one even offered me a drink or a menu for minutes. I got up and stood near the hostess stand to see if anyone would notice me... nothing! Not to mention the place...was full. This place is clearly going down, as all the other restaurants around it were packed and alive. Good luck Ignoring your few customers Nectar ....

My daughter took me here, perhaps knowing I would love it and wanting to show off one of Merida’s fine restaurants. Nectar is casual, yet sophisticated. Great for vegetarians. Wonderful menu of updated Yucatán inspired dishes. I had the pasta with medallions of langostinos on...top. It was so delicious! Service was expert and attentive. Highly recommend.

One of the best meals I had in Mexico- the Lechon tacos with salsa verde, the sweet potato with crema, the Foie Gras and Duck Ravioli with Balsamic and the Basque Cheesecake with Truffle Ice Cream were all Fantastic. This was my birthday dinner in...December and I can truly attest that this restaurant is beyond fabulous, and deserves a Michelin star for the cooking alone.

if the service improves it could even aspire to michelin star. one of the most original dishes I has ever seen: charcoal onions

My wife enjoyed this restaurant in January or on a Thursday night. The only sad thing was the complete lack of customers. we were the only two guests until pm when other couple came in We had the fulll tasting menu with...the signature Black onion petals (delicious and trying to make them at home tonight) and matching wine pairings All Mexican wines and mostly delicious. The fish dish with citrus butter sauce was outstanding and the desserts (not usually our thing) were yummy, especially the cheese dessert with cheese ice cream. Only disappointment was therein course of duck despite sous voiding, it was a little chewy. I'm a chef of years and this was outstanding. Some language barriers with English, but all in all highly recommended

The food was good. However, we thought it was not worth the trip there and a bit over-hyped. Still, you might want to try it. Perhaps we went on an off day.

It is a most in Merida. The experience was delicious. The place is cozy, and the service is first class. The food is traditional with a modern touch. For a better experience I recommend sharing

Smart, delicious, and beautiful food that riffs on traditional Yucatan flavors. We also sat at the counter which afforded a great view of the kitchen in action (and gave us time to talk with the helpful and friend chef de cuisine). The black onions that...everyone loves were very delicious, as was the kibbe. We had venison which came on a plate polka dotted with different fruit sauces, which made for an engaging and tasty dish. The wines by the glass were delicious. Dessert was fine though a bit schizophrenic too many things on the plate where a smaller number of exceptionally executed elements would have done. Nectar did a great job in taking the simplicity of some of the local cuisine and building on it with richness and innovation.
