not state here if they think about staying here, please remember! my family had weeks the hell in an illegal being that was insecure. we were surrounded by building days in the week together with wild viscous dogs., in the house and all night parties in the house near us. Every day we had to clean the dirty pool itself and the place is overrun with weep and flys. if they complain, the owner becomes evil and rejects her money. this place is not licensed and does not correspond to any heath and safety with dangerous electrons, sheer drops that a child could kill together with old and insecure furniture that caused my man and daughter to hurt. this place was earlier sweet, but under the current management I would avoid costing to all.

el cañuelo still makes some of the best food round, at a very modest price, and with beautiful weather the prospects up to the med of the feet up are fantastic. this time, three of us came to an evening meal at a warm but klousie evening and ended sitting in the clouds when the cloud base quickly descended on us. still dramatic, but jenny sat with a deck around her shoulders was not exactly what we had planned. eating was great, but as always a large plate Moroccan salate with orange, nuts and dried fruits, berenjenas con miel, gambas pil-pil, mushrooms and speck, chips, chicken wings, calamares we ate our way, although most of the menus and just ordered something. a few glasses of white wine washes it very nicely down, and the chiupitos (liqueurs) at the end was a perfect finish. a meal to remember, and not just for eating.

this restaurant is really off the beaten track, but it is stunning. the hopes are to die. there were not many people there, but the service was so slow. we were asked what drinks we wanted before we sat, but then slowed it down. to stop. we had only one main meal, but were there over hours! over hours after the order. When that came, it was nice. the grilled chicken was perfectly cooked. the chips were ashamed as the sweet. the curry had not much of a sauce that was good, but the person it had, preferably a saucy curry. the kalamari was described as the best she had ever eaten! the delicate steak was a little chewing, but okay. the shot at the end of dinner was also a nice note. eating is moderately expensive. it is a great place to eat when they stay close and do not worry to drive on tiny streets in the dark or there in the day and have a relaxed chilled time scale.

Beautiful restaurant and views, it’s a shame about the long waits. We had some really nice food when it finally arrived. However the beef tenderloin was tough and chewy and the chicken curry consisted of no sauce, resulting in it being quite dry. That said...the grilled chicken breast was really enjoyable and the calamari was perfect. Unequal portion sizes. Complimentary shots with the bill, we would go back again if it wasn’t for the wait.

We haven’t been to this side of the water for years or more but deceived that we would try out the restaurant for Sunday Lunch. We were warmly greeted by very capable staff and the menu although not extensive was beautifully cooked. The experience...was one we would repeat and would encourage others too as well. I am looking forward to going in winter as the interior looks really warm and inviting

We stayed here for nights for a family wedding in June We loved the layout of the site although its a bit hilly and may not be best suited for very young children or those who find it hard to walk. The accommodation...was very rustic, spacious and clean we have a fantastic balcony with a beautiful day bed and amazing views. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and very reasonably priced as were the drinks and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The pool and children's play areas were wonderful although the pool was a little bit on the cold side. The only downside and reason we haven't rated this stars is that for the duration of our stay there were two dogs chained up at one of the properties, which looked empty, and the dogs barked a lot during the night and from about in the morning. Fortunately this didn't wake our children but meant we had very little uninterrupted nighttime sleep for the duration of our stay.

We’ve been coming here for years and have always loved it great food, unpretentious setting and stunning views and came this time with two good friends who fell in love with it too. We’d had a short walk up on the railway line,...were going to call in just for a drink and it was such a hot and still evening we decided to stay for a meal. We shared a Moroccan salad, the goats cheese with berry jam, a bowl of prawns pil-pil, some berenjenas con miel, and a plate of chips: together with bread, olives and a drink apiece that came to the princely sum of euros and we had the fun of meeting Antonio there who used to run Cantueso, and whose sister Anna now helps to run Cañuelo. He’s as super-friendly as ever and is going to be helping at Cañuelo periodically another good reason to go. An out-of-the-way gem.
