we have set ourselves to a cold, nebulous evening on Monday, October night. we thought it was closed, but no, we had a friendly reception and then fantastic eating, amazing atmosphere with jazz and blues all around.
beautiful location, sunny day in the shaded garden with views of the mountains. delicious lunch, meat cooked on a wood grill delicious dee vere swedes that melt in the mouth. very relaxed, but friendly service. perfect for a chilled lunch.
el jardin del mirador offers one of the most beautiful experiences of our stay. it is an amazing rustic restaurant with a legendary chef and waitress. eating was incredible and the service of anna was attentive, but not overlaid. we arrived late after a multi-day hike of mulhacén in pitres but were greeted with open poor in el jardin del mirador. we ate on a terrace with a scenery of alpujarras. eat here!
nice eating, we both had the mushroom and parmesan rice, absolutely delicious!. great location that we sat in the garden and offers us a great view. will be going back in any case
We received the usual friendly and enjoyable welcome and excellent food. After the tapas mix we had the duck and the pork with the mixed vegetables as a side before the chocolate dessert...lovely.

I knew this place as one of my favourites under the previous Moroccan owners. It’s now a shadow of it’s former charm, and the food is ok but very much worse than before. So it was disappointing to return. It would take a small amount of effort to improve the beautiful terrace with gorgeous view and shady trees, and perhaps a bigger one to improve the very average food and service. Disappointed.
