we were thrilled by our experience in la placeta in the old town pollenca. delicious local food well cooked all excellent presented. eduardo, our principal was charming. he has given several recommendations, all sworn. he was particularly proud of the homemade chocolate cullant, and after I had tasted it, I can know why. that is a hidden gem, not to miss! we wish we had made pictures to share, as there are no words.

the hotel is located on a quiet place, is a fabulous place for people watching and enjoy traditional Mallorcan cuisine. the owner, eduardo, looked at us so well and we loved the vegetarian paella. gracias, eduardo!

we had a wonderful time in la placeta! a few minutes away from the beaten stretch, the restaurant offers a small place in the center of the city. eduardo went through the menu, and his recommendations for the capitals (both and lamming, both Majorcan style)...and gloomy were spectacular. an authentic and delicious Mallorcan experience that could not recommend enough! we hope to be back soon!

beautiful eating and beautiful staff. best paella around. we had the kabeljau paella and the vegetarian paella and it was nicely prepared and served, highly recommended.
