I recently stayed at the Dona Lina hotel in beautiful Seville and it was amazing. The hotel is perfectly situated in the Old Town close to many fabulous places to eat and explore. The hotel was fabulous, clean, comfy and the staff were so helpful and friendly It was excellent value and I would highly recommend it I hope to go back one day to stay again at the Dona Lina amongst the beautiful orange tree line squares with so many historical buildings to explore
Situado en una calle estrecha alrededor de la zona de Santa Cruz, este restaurante nos llamó la atención con un interior bien decorado. Desafortunadamente eso fue lo único bueno. Teníamos sopa vegetal y gazpacho andaluz (ambos eran promedio en el mejor) y paella mixta. La paella era obviamente recalentado, se servía semi frío. Tenía unos pocos trozos de carne de aspecto dudoso y el olor de ella nos llevó a creer que tenía unos días. basura absoluta. Para todo esto, un vaso de cerveza y uno de tinto 30 euros. Lástima que no leí las reseñas aquí antes de entrar. La próxima vez toma unos minutos y busca lo que la gente dijo en Internet. ¡Podría ahorrarte dinero y tiempo! Evite este lugar. Hay muchas otras opciones alrededor.
We discovered this place late one evening strolling through the old part of Seville. It's situated in a delightful plaza beneath orange trees. The waiter was very friendly and great with our kids. All good and that's what gets the two stars. Unfortunately the food was pretty poor average at best with possibly the worst paella I've ever experienced. Not cheap either. Don't be tempted you don't have to pay good money for bad food.
El tipo parecía muy amistoso pero, lamentablemente, la comida no era hasta cero. La sopa era sabrosa, pero la Paella sabía que había sido recalentado de la hora del almuerzo, el pastel de queso salió en un recipiente de papel de aluminio que era muy básico. El trato era barato y la comida era más barata, con suerte la punta de 1 euro dejó el mensaje de decepción. En este día de la edad, las ofertas de alimentos deben ser mejores que esto.
We wish we had walked ten more meters in the 37 degree heat but we didn't. All tables were empty and now we know why. This is worst meal we have had in Spain. The kids had acceptable spaghetti bolognese but highly over priced. The menu was unappealing so we chose an Iberian ham salad (iceberg lettuce and four measly rashers of ham no dressing just water at least the lettuce had been washed) and chef's salad (I can laugh about it now a mixture of cabbage and mesclun lettuce with four deep fried chicken nuggets, a canned pineapple ring, some red capsicum and thousand island sauce). For the pleasure of four white bread rolls we were charged two euros apiece. Really severely disappointing doesn't really capture it! Take five minutes to check trip advisor no matter how desperately you want that cerveza or you might end up here!
Our friend knew about this place in advance. Food was good, large quantities, good price and service. Clean bathrooms too.
On our visit to Seville we enjoyed a nice evening meal including the Solomillo Cerdo and Carrillada Iberica. Very tasteful. Together with a bottle of Rioja (very cheap) I may say we had a n enjoyable evening.
