restaurante encantador en auténtica casa tradicional de pueblo gallego, vamos, que es como mis abuelos, buen trato, ambiente tranquilo, buenos precios, y muy buen producto, especialmente en carnes, y no olvidar los postres caseros, riquísimos, ¡volvemos!
we felt like we were back in the time when we arrived in the restaurant. the family was friendly and very service oriented. they grilled the meat in a centuries-old giant kamin. we shared a single part of steak between us and a single...Salad and it was still a lot to eat. everything was super fresh and delicious. we will definitely visit each other again when we are in the opposite!
this is a fab restaurant, the owners are very friendly, this was our second visit there and it was just as good as last year would highly recommend it.
this is exactly the kind of place I love when I am on the go: a family-run restaurant where everything is made in their own kitchen, the menu is limited to what they do best (no wrong decisions here the second cure is wood charcoal grilled steaks: the BEST aged bark I have ever had. we went back a week later to see if it was a fuke. the second steak was as good as the first! it is called chuletón de buey a beautiful thick beautiful marbled plate of bark meat. the potato salad (ensalidilla rusa) is very tasty, with its puppy game made from fresh mayo above, and the fried squid (chipirones fritos) are to die. the few reviewers who said they had a bad time, must have had their pants in a twist this day. this place is fabulous. do not be here if cheap is what they like most. this is about quality, care, intimacy, location and bark. to the happiness for all of us!
we ate in this wonderful restaurant in our penultimate night and wish we had discovered it earlier. the friendly owners and ambiente accompanied the best steak I've ever eaten! what a tasty bite. no need to guess where we are at our last night.

Having dined in many superb fish and seafood Resturants we decided to make a half hour journey out to this place for some meat. Location was fine as was the hospitality, but o my the food was the worst we had had in years as...very experienced independent world travellers. We both ordered the speciality of BBQ beef steaks. Mine was so tough and grissely that the owners wife had to come and cut it up on a board,almost totally inedible. My wife's meat came already cut up and was like a collection of scraps on bone that you may serve to your dog, again inedible. The wine was fine as was the ambience. But how this place could ever be the number is impossible to comprehend as there wer two other really fabulous places in town.
This is à restaurant worth à detour A place where food is served as it should be: simple, honest and of the uttermost quality The speciality is the chuleton, the best beef grilled in a special manner (no spoilers here, you should find out for...yourself) for us this was the best meat we ever had in spain, and we are meat lovers Jesus and his wife where very friendly and same ase the food: honest and of the best quality Don't let the negative reviews (these people where not actually there I believe) this restaurant is the best of the best of the best in galicia and..... This evening we will long remember
