"No other place can be as beautiful as on the campsite of Bad Hönningen, right on the large waterfront promenade. Here you can really enjoy the panorama of the picturesque father Rhine. Not far away to the romantic Loreley or to Cologne to walk. We park directly on the shore with our camper and observe the shipping traffic. At noon we didn't want to go far when the good is so close. Right on the Camingplatz there is a “Speiserestaurant”. Environment The places on the covered terrace are constantly occupied in beautiful weather It is the sunny side of the Rhine. We turn in and get a nice table with a view to the outside. A modern fireplace is located in the view and heat source. The walls are kept in white and gray. The seat is somewhat stiff, but for a clause it is still good. The tables are all already covered with cream-colored tablecloths, petrol-colored runners, white napkins and candlesticks. Service The head of the house serves the guests outside and inside, so that with great urge also small waiting times can be expected. If you wish a designated invoice, you must ask yourself and bring time. Balkan dishes, steaks and scavengers are served in the camping cabin. We chose the Balkan Grill cellar from the lush menu (13.90 €). The plate was loaded with two Cevapcici, a pig steak, a pig fillet, oxen and bacon. The supplements were Ajvar, Onions, Duvec Rice, Pommes and a mixed salad plate. The second court called Senior Raznjici (9,70€). The supplements were the same as the grill plate. Then we decided on a pork steak Madagascar with pepper cream sauce, roast potatoes and salad (13,40€). The peppercorns were fresh and nicely sharp. The roast potatoes were not baked too fat in the pan. A good record. The meat was tender and well grilled on all plates. The Ajvar together with the onions gave the necessary pepp. Conclusion: Here the traditional Balkan cuisine has found a new home."

"General/Lage The Crystal Rheinpark-Therme is an oasis surrounded by beautiful nature directly on the Rhine bank. The thermal philosophy is closely linked to the teaching of St. Hildegard of Bingen, so that the water supply takes place via precious stones and rock crystals and the Venetian, original ambience has something exclusive. Ambiance After we feel new desire for life, we also feel hungry. We are looking for the gastronomic offer directly at the spa. This is achieved from the entrance area or from the outside via steps over the beautifully located terrace area with views of the spa park. Inside the room is less large. The chessboard pattern on the floor is noticeable. The seats are dark, the round or square small tables are naked and have a marble look. Each table has a flowerpot, everything is clean and tidy. The counter is equipped with numerous delicious pastries. Service The service welcomes us friendly and assigns us a place. The staff is trained and works quickly. There's nothing to kick here. On the map, the dishes are usually read like small treats at reasonable prices. We also hope to get tired. We order the daily dish of the grater cake with pickled salmon and salad set (11,20€), the pork carving with frits and mixed salad (9,90€) and the baked camembert with butter toast jellyberries and salad set (6,30€). The salads were all fresh, crunchy and beautifully dressed. The Röstis were crispy and fat-free. The salmon mild and delicate. The peppercorns in the sauce were fresh and the cut crushed butter. The only manco, the sauce had landed on the panade. The big Camembert was also nicely baked. Inside creamy and outside crispy, right at the point. The parts were rich and each plate was beautifully decorated with love. All three dishes had surpassed our expectations in a “swimming pool restaurant”. Conclusion: Clear elements on the plate, precise preparation, intense aromas, best products, everything without chichi elegantly staged."
