"In Böblingen, Thomas and Tanja Heiling, two locals operate, which can meet more than the requirements of regional, creative and fresh cuisine, and which belong to both the Association of the Heckengäu Church and the Schönbuch Church and the “Schmeck-den-Süd”. In the main house “Paladion” I am often in the neighborhood with friends or relatives to enjoy the magnificent, always changing and absolutely versatile lunch buffet with regional specialties and a Pottery salad buffet. I don't know anyone who finds nothing here. Sad only (but understandable that Monday is rest day. For some time, but on 7 days a week, the Heilings also have the “Thermini” in the most popular Böblinger spa, known beyond the circles. It is similar to the "Paladion", with the best traffic connection – close to the A81 motorway exit and only a 10-minute walk from the S-Bahn station, with a bus stop near the front door and very close to the Böblingen-Stuttgart cycle path. The fact that the thermal bath visitors are blessed is clear. But the “Thermini” is a public restaurant and can be entered by everyone. Many free parking spaces are also available, but on popular days like bridge days or holidays you need to get up early to get a free space. Cooperation with regional producers is truly formal and always open. Why should we go far away if the Ländle can offer such a variety of attractive products? Meat eaters, fish lovers and vegetarians are equally happy. In addition, the “Thermini” offers a bright, light ambience with small two- and four-seat tables made of light wood, white tablecloths, friendly table decorations and interesting views. This year the “Thermini” also has a dependency during the popular “Sleeping am See” event, changes from the view of the thermal bath at the bottom of the lake (a natural lake that hardly knows!). It is usually too boring for me, but today the best summer weather and an empty fridge go directly into the catches of the big event. In addition to all the self-service stands, the “Thermini” with a shaded yet well maintained ambience (white tablecloths, 1a cleanliness, many herbal pots as decoration and dedicated operation at the table. The menu is evaporated to some hits and not as extensive as in the thermal bath, but still very attractive and not overpriced. The impressive house castle for 9,00 Euro with Patty of Albrind, Landrauchschinken and Pflücksalat – on request with additional frites, which are referred to here as very sympathetic potato buds. The pot dumplings also look great with berries Ragout and vanilla ice cream, which probably has the nutritional value of a main course and is gouted in the side table by two seniors with glassy eyes and half senses before enjoyment (tastefully nothing for me, but visually an eyewitness). I choose a Schmeck-den-Süd-Bowl (the current Bowl-Hype I cannot share, but the part does what and hopefully not too powerful for the evening event to which I added for 11.50 euros. In a voluminous bread bowl you will find: salmon trout from Echaztal trout farming in Honau (about 500 meters from the echaz source, a strand of acidic trout, Demeter goat cheese from pleasantly creamy texture, plentiful baby pine leaves and pimples, superfluous chia seeds, crunchy nuts and soaps. It's so puffy that I'm afraid for dinner. I'm sorry. In service, three beloved **** girls act, but they have thick things for professionalism. I feel served for and attentive and simply carried on hands. Only in the end is there something to pay. For a long time, I have to wait for the super service girl with the big wallet, which has to deposit a big order on the neighboring table. However, your colleagues comfort me best and are full of attention and concentration with me. Cleanliness is also noticeable. In the meantime, the table arrangements are refocused, the white tablecloths are brought into the game and staged perfectly. Nobody gets stressed. Super organization! Best notes for an ambitious but wonderfully relaxed kitchen and service team. While others are looking for employees, the cures seem to offer optimal working conditions."

"Check Inn Restaurant is located in Böblingen. Once the state airport was until 1935, where the Zeppelin landed. After large areas of the area have moved into the new neighborhoods of the airfield, few architectural remains of a glorious past testify. But this is almost no longer interested in this century. The Check Inn has been in the middle of the airfield since 2016 and offers trendy international cuisine. Maybe. I wanted to cancel a visit to the place for a special occasion, maybe even a little quiet mmelancholy along with the former history that suggested me with due distance – so far I have not taken a step into the check Inn. However, the current situation helps me to make a first attempt. After weeks of forced abstinence, my mind simply stands for unknown culinary delights. Some locals offer pick-up offers, some even a free delivery service. If that's not the best way to check in? As a forecasting person, I already call Eve to hand over my order for Sunday afternoon. Probably because of the big claim, I will land in the waiting loop. Then try to reconcile me again on Sunday morning. When my gentle conversation comes, the young lady on the phone quickly becomes a professional mode, picks up the delivery data and finally asks whether there are drinks or a dessert. Unfortunately no – my wine cellar is well filled and sweet is not one of my favorites. On Sunday morning, I want a little knirps to the Christ Child. Then the food really lands at 12:30 in front of our front door, although the well-launated lady from the delivery service had to turn a small tour around our block. Payment would have been possible without contact with credit card, but we deposited the sum in cash next to the Easter bunny in front of our front door. It was accepted. The Sunday menu, expected with tension, consists of: 1) 1x Panned carving from the calf with pommes (for 16 Euro instead of 21 Euro) 2) 1x vital bowl with leaf cachets, celery and avocado puree, sweet potatoes pommes and marinated colored lens salad (for 11 Euro instead of 13 Euro) That was good. Both dishes are transported in large warming boxes in the car and placed in the respective packaging in front of our front door by a 100% recyclable cardboard tray and a 100% recycled plastic cover. With the same internal volume of the packaging, the actual filling quantity is different. The Schnitzel part is exactly right and corresponds to a pleasantly dimensioned Sunday meal. On the other hand, the Vital Bowl proves to be a triple felt section that is not to be done with a swing. In the carving, two smaller parts, not too dark, are stuffed, and there are many frites that won't be lazy. As a nice gesture at the top, a small douche with a cranberry sauce, which would harmonize to a baked camembert. Absolutely lush and blessed with amazingly diverse aromas is the vital dish: on a unfortunately already slightly watered leaf salads are very crispy roasted tofu slices, hip sweet potato pomers, pleasant edgy lentil salad with red and yellow pepper pieces, tastefully harmonious avocado pure and a mild celery pure. As an unannounced bonus for everything: 9 slices of bread (white baguette, white bread with black olives, dark grain bread – for breakfast next week is already available), two packed biscuits and two refreshments. We like the snow kings – but decide to put less on traditional standard kitchen and try one of the more experimental offers on the next order (the extensive delivery card with a good dozen different dishes changes weekly). We have already been able to convince ourselves of the absolute deadline and the well-tuned delivery team."
