"If we could make the service personnel smile, this little ice cream café would be perfect. You have indoor and outdoor seats so you can go there all year round. The cafe is located in the middle of the pedestrian zone in Buchholz... in the Nordheide, so you can sit outside for ages with friends and feel almost in Paris how you eat your ice cream and see people by. You can of course also just go out and then sit on one of the nearby benches or on the steps that surround the pond over the way. This is an Italian ice cream café and they offer a variety of flavors of very high quality. In addition to the normal cones they have a menu only for sunflowers my absolute favorite is the strawberry sunflower with fresh strawberries. My husband and I keep there every time we're in Buchholz (even in winter) and our friends from Canada insist every time they're back in Germany. Of course, you can just stop for coffee or tea and just have a chat with a friend. Unfortunately, it is not very big so you can not talk about your private business."
