"Fiesste's weather on the way home. When we refueled, the idea came to us that we could take the opportunity to find a place near us for lunch. And so we landed at the La Cantina in Homberg Efze . "(Meeting, two people, 39,00 € Coming from a shopping tour from Kassel, it was just the right time to finally get to the Burgbergstube for lunch. Last autumn we had already looked at this idyllic place. At that time, high-level operation and both the parking lot and the tables in the restaurant were almost completely occupied. It went quieter today. The parking lot was empty, and we were the only guests. You can drive directly to the castle by car and park your car behind the restaurant. Tables and chairs in the outdoor area were already prepared, but with just under 10 degrees clearly too cool to stay here. Also in the conservatory, whose tables offer a magnificent view at the window, it was still too fresh to settle there comfortably. And so it went to the homely warm Burgbergstube. The boss greeted us kindly, asked for hunger and supplied us with the menus. Then the musical underpainting was switched on and we had our fun at guessing German hits from the 70s. We were relocated to our childhood and hummed unintentionally. The small but fine card offers about 30 dishes, including three soups, four salads and three variations of fresh flame cake. I didn't see desserts in the map. So coffee and cake doesn't seem to exist. But that's exactly what I can imagine in the summer months! But we were here for lunch. Even at home when viewing the menu on the homepage, I noticed that my beloved roast potatoes were not present as a supplement. Too bad. There were mostly fries or potato croquettes and in two dishes (salt potatoes as a supplement. For this there was a homemade potato soup, which of course stood on the plan right away. My wife was looking for a little colourful salad of the season. I raised my wife a little bit when I asked if she would like to take nautical fillet again (with Pommes 8.80 € , but after the Pleite in the Knallhütte recently the answer was clear to me. And so there was the marinated turkey for my wife, and I chose more immeasurable pigs again. This time on band noodles and according to map with fresh cream ampignons. After some waiting time, which was completely within the frame, salad and soup were served as a special gag in one-mach glass. The one minute that the soup had to wait for my return from making fresh could not have caused it alone. But: the soup tasted excellent! A really good potato soup!! And it was really plentiful of the tasty fine anger in the glass. It would not have been so plentiful, because the soup tasted very well. The salad of my wife consisted of Lollo Rosso, tomatoes, cucumbers and a few croutons on a Schmand dressing. Everything was freshly erected no buckets. While we still ate soup and salad, we already heard the meat in the pan bruzzling, and at some point I thought loudly now my pumice come into the frituse, but falsely thought, because I had band noodles. So it must be the croquettes to my wife's turkey steak that caused the sound. And soon the main courts came. The Putensteak described my wife as extremely juicy and tasty. Today she was very satisfied and then I am also satisfied. : The croquettes depted themselves as duke-in-arteries, but that did not break the court. And the Burgberg pan also tasted me. However, here and now, I cannot recognize or appreciate the mushrooms that they are to be fresh mushrooms. From consistency and taste, I prefer to go out of the glass from mushrooms, as recently experienced in the Knallhütte. The lumber was ok, and I can't blame anything here the lumber was not dry and fried dead. Pasta and cream sauce were delicious. All in all a successful stop! But once again I wonder how to survive with only two guests at noon? We wish the Burgbergstube a long life, and we will surely see again! Recommendation.
