"General Treasures and I decided on Sunday morning that we could return to lunch at the restaurant Seeterrasse in Kahl at the campsite. For the relatively short distance of just 10 km from our home, we used the beautiful weather to move our wire mesh again. The main focus is on Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant has been run for about five years under the same Italian direction. It was closed for a long time until a few months ago, as the detainees, namely the municipality of Kahl, took a lot of money into their hands, and extensive rebuilding or rebuilding. Renovation work has been put into effect. Our last visit dates back to three years and we were curious about what it looks like in the lake terrace now. A first impression conveys the homepage of the restaurant under [here link] Both a restaurant and a terrace can be walked in. From the terrace a staircase leads down, over which the campers usually come to the local. From the restaurant to the toilets you have to go down on a number of steps. For wheelchair users probably not suitable. A few steps further down are the four bowling alleys that are played by KC Kahl for training and competitions as well as by Schoppenkeglern. The service When we had connected our bikes to the pitches at 13 a.m. we went inside. The reconstruction was clearly visible. Because of the beautiful weather we crossed the two large rooms, which were very well occupied, and went to the large terrace behind the restaurant. At least two thirds of the tables were already occupied on the terrace. The sun rays already gave a lot of warmth. A lot of parasols were standing around, but no one was tense. We also wanted to sit outdoors, so we asked a female service, whether it would be possible to put a parasol on our chosen table. Unfortunately, we got the answer that all parasols are defective and that new parasols are only available in about two weeks. So, Marsch returns and back to the first of the two rooms. On all free tables were reserved signs. On demand for our part, again at the staff, the sign was removed at a 6 table and offered to us to take place here. It was a nice place on the window and we were satisfied. It was striking that on all covered, but free tables there was a reservation sign, which was then removed from the appropriate table when new guests entered and the seats were given without reservation. A mash I've seen in some Italian restaurants. Then most visitors don't ask, but just go back. Shortly afterwards waiter came, greeted us kindly and handed us the menus. We had enough time to study them until a female service came to our table and asked if we already know what we want to eat and drink. Sweetheart ordered a non-alcoholic yeast wheat (Erdinger, 0.5 l, 3,50 € . My awkwardness had it on a freshly tapped Jever Pils. Unfortunately, this was not in stock according to the service and so I had to reorder on a freshly tapped Radeberger Pils (0.4 l, 2.80 €). Shortly afterwards the well-cooled and beautifully gifted beers, wheat probably more from the bottle, were served. The staff had a lot to do and obviously stress at the high-level business. So only when the plates were cleared, there was a demand that it tasted. And ordering a second cold drink was simply and simply impossible, as even on our winery, the staff only swirled through the restaurant and had no eyes for our wine-growing in mind. At the end, I actually saw a wink. On the ordered Espressi (2,20 € at the end, however, we had to wait too long, which is why the Espressi no longer felt almost hot, but maximally warm on the tongue, although the cups were neatly hot. Until my request for payment of the invoice was recorded, it also took a little longer. However, the bill, which consisted of a correct credit, was taken very quickly to our table. Paid, staff away from the table, adoption was no longer possible. 2.5 stars, with a lot of understanding, whether the great urge. Let's have dinner. We both decided to carving with pommes and salad. (SchniPoSa Schnitzel Gorgonzola Sweetheart with Gorgonzola sauce (11,40 € ), my little bite with Bolognesesauce (11,90 €). The Gorgonzola sauce had an excellent consistency, according to the taste of my wife. Especially not too powerful. On each plate there were two medium-sized carvings, each very well panned, super soft, with the corresponding sauce on it. In my variant Bolognesesauce, baked with ham and cheese. The Bolognese covered the whole ensemble. The individual components matched very well, the Bolognesesauce was really very good. Also the pommes were good crispy, great seasoned. So it was also possible for us both to empty our plates with the utmost satisfaction. Schnitzel Bolognese The side salad, small-cut leaf salads, some cucumber and a tomato saddle, with a homemade, well-decorated mayonnaise dressing slightly inoculated, nothing special but tasty. For food, I find 3.5 stars appropriate. The ambience In the guest room all tables beautifully covered. Large pepper and salt mills on the tables. Cloak and some thicker paper napkins. At each place a fine undercover, simple, but elegant. The premises can please. Table decoration Cleanliness At first glance, nothing would seem to mind, which could have disturbed you with cleanliness. The toilets also made a clean, neat impression. My conclusion If we're on the bike in the summer, I could imagine a return to the terrace that we hope to have shielded until then. Overall impression (after “Küchsreise” 3 – if it arises, again! (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it arises, again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again"
