"We were looking for a restaurant in Lüdinghausen that offers German cuisine. Before we tried to eat in Vischering Castle, but the restaurant opens only for events like knights' dinner. In the organic shop in the pedestrian zone of Lüdinghausen we received the tip, in the Hotel „Zur Post“ you could eat very well typical western-fälisch. When we arrived there in the middle of the day, a funeral community left the place. We were then also the only guests, and then ordered pancakes with bacon and the Westphalian plate “heaven and earth”, which are potatoes with fried blood sausage, bacon and onions and tea. It was a bit degrading and intense, but delicious. We were served very kindly there, the young waiter then at the end forget to take off the two tea cans, but then I kindly pointed out not to leave the place as cereals.
