"One of the largest providers in the area of Northern Baths for senior citizens (but also for all possible other ages) is the Globus Restaurant in the Globus Wiesental. If the department store has a high customer frequency, the large-area self-service restaurant located on the ground floor is lavish despite a high number of places and relatively dense seating around the noon. In the period from eleven to shortly after half two, at any rate, a daydream is visibly dominated – no wonder, places of bourgeois cuisine are offered at a small price. And the range of offers is exceptionally wide. Price example 8,90 for Rumpsteak – I haven't tried there yet, is prepared on request directly after request, purely visually looked very nice. The ambience is light green, bright canteen atmosphere – that is not exactly what one imagines under such an atmosphere. Despite mass-sene operation quite clean in the peak season, however, weaknesses , especially when guests are in the service restaurant after eating and leave everything behind. The toilets are accessible in a walk-in manner. Even though I do not yet belong to the circle of pensioners, I gradually look around with my wife how the food sources of our future are. So we have eaten there several times before or after the weekly purchase. During the penultimate visit, my wife Spaghetti carbonara had ordered something about four euros – she has forced the portion with extraordinary appetite, but even me it would have been too much. At that time I had sea salmon fillet with potato salad, both in good quality and with 5.95 very inexpensive. Surely nothing for gourmets, connoisseurs but good bodice home cooking on the fast. The offer is clear, for example, in fish, very close to the current offers in the market – so there are quite canteen-unusual fish in the restaurant. On Friday it was time to refill the storage cabinets. We hired ourselves in the area of the day offers, my wife ordered a children's spaghetti 1.00€ the Hirschgulasch with Spätzle and Preiselbeer pear at 6.95€. For this we added two soft drinks 0.3l to 1.55€ each, the total meal at 11.05€. And there is no service, there is no tip. The portion of spaghetti (was of course ordered as half a serving, stands as a children's spaghetti on the bon – has loosely served my wife. The noodles were somewhat beyond al dente, yet good edible. My Hirschgulasch had a pleasant wild taste, very nice pieces in real size without any tendons or other disturbing, the Spätzle was very good convenience as well as the sauce, the pear from the can with a large Klack's cranberry was a bit cool – overall, the plate would have been honored to every kind-bourgeois restaurant. Conclusion – sometimes even cheaper than cooking yourself, wide selection, good portion sizes, good prices – future – unless the bridges of Rome lure, this could certainly come into question."
