Parkhotel Weiskirchen

Kurparkstraße 4, 66709 Weiskirchen, Saarland, Germany

"The 4 star Superior Flair Parkhotel Weiskirchen is situated idyllicly on the edge of the healing climate Kneipp resort Weiskirchen opposite the spa park with lake. An ideal place to recover; We found the 2,500 sqm spa area “Vitalis” with a large swimming pool and a spacious sauna area, which we could use as hotel guests for free to relax. Parking places are available directly at the hotel. Ambiance: We had bought 69€ tickets for the famous “Criminal Dinner” at the price of each, and were looking forward to the theatre spectacle murder in best circles and the 3 course murderer menu created by Chef Marcel Osterloh. Since about 100 guests took part in this event, the event took place in the hotel's banquet hall; 10 festive tables for 10 people each. Culinary heart of the park hotel, however, is the restaurant Four Seasons. The restaurant, completely recently renovated with plenty of taste, welcomes its guests in warm red-orange shades, cosy basket chairs and beautiful light and decoration accents. The tasteful interior conveys timeless feel-good ambience. The next morning, as it is for a 4 star hotel, we were allowed to take lush breakfast, which was not filled with breakfast. At 7:00 p.m. we were greeted with an aperitif, champagne Cassis, who was supposed to agree on the “murderic” pleasure. Of course, I will not discuss the “Criminal Dinner” as a performance, and there is information under “[here link] There was a small portion of crabs and crabs on round toast as “Great from Henker’s kitchen”. To this end, dark mini rolls and a picantly smacked paste of small chopped olives and tomato paste were added. Then followed as the 1st course: Ikarimi-Lachstranche tortured with wild herbs on ligurian vegetables on pine nuts and two kinds of paprika cream Fraîche 2. Gang: tender medium roasted hip from the sacrificed lamb in rosemary salmon on glazed arches of the emperor and homemade gnocchis 3. Gang: In Port wine, pear drowned on creamy coffee ice cream and chocolate-wean tea Drinks: 1 bottle of 0.75l mineral water 4,90€, Pils 0.4l 3,60€, espresso and cola each 2,40€ and 1 bottle of gray burgundy Spätlese from the winery Petgen-Dahm at 27,00€ Rating Essen: Ikarimi-Lachs is almost odorless and tasty. The special type of stress-free slaughter, the salmon is cooled to 2 degrees by a special procedure, ensures the unique quality of the fish. Perfectly aromatically seasoned and masterfully juicy, super-sweetly prepared, the noble part was a palate mouse. Not so great I found the paprika cream Fraîche, which tasted a little fad. There is also a point withdrawal for the fish being served only lukewarm despite preheated plates. The two pieces of lambskin, long inlaid, briefly roasted and then presumably prepared at low temperature in the oven, were perfect – inside delicate pink and juicy, great in taste, with rosemary strongly dominated. Very well, the meat harmonized with the glazed still bite-resistant and slightly sweet Kaiserschoten as well as the homemade gnocchis. The only criticism here is that despite preheated plates, the meat no longer had the ideal temperature. This seemed to me to be an organization rather than a kitchen problem, because only four operators had to serve 100 guests at the same time. The young ladies who were very friendly, attentive and eagerly flotted throughout the evening could not master this at the best will. The dessert crowned the masterfully prepared food, coffee ice cream and chocolate-wan-tan were naturally self-made and delicious. Conclusion: superior kitchen, friendly service, stylish ambience"
