very good restaurant with fast, nice, informed and attentive employees. it mainly offers potato-based meal times where type (vegetaric/hot/vegan/fruity. is displayed by a small logo on the menu. they do not offer plastic bags and appeal to bring their own bags. unfortunately there was only a pure vegan meal (foodstock festival. that was really delicious! in the menu. They now offer 3 vegan dishes, a sweet potatoe curry, a casserole and a filled oven potatoe. In February they also offered vegan kale with potatoes and a vegan soup on a special menue. The casserole was not the best choice, covered with a lot of cornflakes, potatoes, tomatoes, cellery and rice where not the ideal combination and lacking spices. The kale was good though and also the sweet potatoe curry on the other table looked better.

we like the kartoffel house very good. original ambiente, cozy sitting and delicious eating around the kartoffel let them forget the day for a short time. the lovingly designed room reminds of a long home. pure feeling atmosphere. eating came quite fast and the service was very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. we're coming back.

Just came to drink a beer. But the ambience has tempted me to eat. This was not a mistake. Food was good. After that, the service asked me to change the place because more guests came. (Fullly correct and appropriate) have revanted with extra drinks. Super service.
