service and atmosphere excellent, really beautiful decor. only 2 meat options on the Sunday midday menu so expected perfection unfortunately despite the offer of meat cooked as they like it (bef rump and lambbone,) all dishes came well made if we rarely asked for a series of rare/medium. one of the bark dishes was particularly fat and fat was left on the side of the plate, but the waiting staff did not pick up when the table cleared. that said circumcisions and yorkshire puddings especially fantastic. if meat is served as advertised, it would be a 5* review. there would be a second chance.
Had a great time eating various tasty bits and bobs off the Salt Earth pop up menu. Never been to 1000 Trades before but it had a great atmosphere, great 80s music and it wasn't played too loud so me and my partner could talk. Was dancing in my seat! Service was excellent too. Would go again. Importantly to me its good to see local food trades and artists supported!
came here after the birmingham helped marathon looking for a relaxing Sunday roast. roast was very good, with a delicious vegetarian option also. good choice of beer and helpful knowledgeable. the jazzpianist in the background was also enjoyable without being too intrusive. just what I could suggest would be more than a dessert option. you have recommended
1000 trades is a great neighbourhood bar with a savvy take on beer and hospitality. The food is always first class and the menu often changes to reflect the diverse cosmopolitan feel of a thoroughly up and coming city. I love this bar; no wide screen TV to impede conversation and some excellent DJs with more than a bit of musical nous. Full marks.

Absolutely stunning. Enjoyed a Sunday Roast here and was blown away by the flavours. The atosphere was faultless too with a jazz pianist playing creating a peaceful and relaxed environment and to top it all off the service was fantastic too; friendly, helpful and polite. Good luck with the venture and may it go from strength to strength.
anhang trades is a nice friendly place. the personal was excellent and goes beyond the duty to fulfill each request. eating was nice, but the charcuterie platter needs fresh crust bread as well as the beautiful cracker. the chutney was absolutely delicious. impressed by the diversity of events and will definitely visit again.
Great food! The staff were very attentive, and they have a good selection of beer and decent rum. What more could we Brummies ask for?
Fabulous love this pub dog friendly real fire knowledgeable staff changing ales. This is one of the best pubs in Brum.
