We discovered this gem a month ago and I've been back twice already to sample more menu items. This is a restaurant where you can dress up or down and feel like your night will be special. There is great care for detail here, from the small twists of flavour in the dishes to the thoughtful cocktail composition. Fried olives with pork, chili, and fennel were a favourite, but we enjoyed it all. We also visited for the Broken Noodle pop up lunch and were impressed with the food and the atmosphere this is a restaurant with a commitment to investing in the Fredericton food scene. A seat at the back bar allows entertainment in the form of watching the immaculate food prep as it happens.
I recently moved back to New Brunswick after 6 years away in Ontario, 3 years in Toronto. I thought moving to Fredericton would be a homecoming, but I feel a little lost in this new city. 11th Mile is my compass, bringing me pieces of my Toronto home. From December to now, I've eaten and drank there almost ten times, and every time builds on the last. The friendly staff, gracious owners, tasteful decoration, delicious sharing plates and yummy cocktails make for an amazing experience. I make a point to bring all of my visitors here. Thank you for helping with my homesickness, 11th mile.
I’ve been thinking about Fredericton and food ever since eating at 11thmile.yfc this week. There are only a few restaurants that encourage me to leave my own kitchen, and which are swoon-worthy enough to leave a review. This restaurant is that. Amazing flavours, wonderful service, charming decor, and a big city vibe uncommon in Fredericton. A place you want to be your “secret” place, except you want everyone else to know about it so they can get in on the secret, too. This place is special. And I will be back. Soon.
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and the wonderful couple and staff that run this place! Everything off the menu is drool worthy and leaves you wanting more legit we have ordered the entire menu on more then one occasion to share with groups). Couple of observations from opening night: 1) These guys nailed the design of their space 2) Jennie knows a great cocktail 3) Peter knows and creates excellent food 4) Travis behind the bar makes a great cocktail and has better hair than me which I'm a little jealous of! Great addition to the Fredericton food/drink scene. Goes without saying the Bowman's will be back. Well done guys!! Great start
The decor, the personalized service, the friendly staff.....all amazing. And then there's the food. Oh my, the carrot salad, the kale salad, the brandade, the olives, even the popcorn were amazing -but the gnocchi is out of this world. Thanks to Jen and Peter for moving back to Fredericton to realize their dream....
The food options are incredible! Unique and healthy options. Absolutely adored the pickled veg, the freekeh dish, and I don't think I'll ever stop craving the walnut butter. The atmosphere, music, and service was outstanding. Thrilled to have this place as an option in Fredericton!
