1423 China Kitchen

Went for my husbands birthday. And my 90 year old father in law. The place was empty, the staff were unfriendly, wooden, and more concerned with the take away food. The starters were warm, not very appetising, no complimentary prawn crackers. Cob webs everywhere, toilets were grose. The staff were rowing in the main, but empty restaurant. When I brought it to their attention they stopped and gave us some attention Too little, too late A bottle of wine was not good enough. Do not go here, it was not good. We paid good money 165 quid for 3. Very very disappointed.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant. The menu on Uber Eats had a wide variety of options, including a dedicated vegan menu. The food was delicious. My only issue was that the Uber Eats menu did not include spring rolls, even though they were listed on the printed menu that came with the delivery.

There was an overwhelming choice. I had the vegan lemon chicken and vegan chicken balls with curry sauce. They was just like the non vegan versions I remember. We visited the restaurant itself near the castle and would definitely recommend it

So happy we found this place on a Sunday evening in Windsor! The prawns in black bean sauce and tofu with seafood were both outstanding- super fresh and flavorful, with veggies and without a lot of oil. Highly recommend! Reserva una mesa ahora

I have ordered takeout from this restaurant a few times. The faux meats are excellent and it's wonderful to have vegan versions of traditional Chinese dishes. My only complaint is that it is quite pricey.

We travel all the way from cambridge to come here, they do the best chinese we have ever had and have a massive range if you are vegan. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic Chinese restaurant in the heart of Windsor. Hunt out 1423 definitely worth finding. Food and service excellent.
