Unless you have no other options, I would avoid this 1-star hotel. Even though it is not that expensive, you would be better off sleeping in your car. The hotel needs a major renovation. The rooms and bathrooms are not that clean. We rented two rooms for one night. In one room a TV was smashed (to the credit of the hotel, we were offered a $30 deduction), and in another, the safety lock was broken, windows looked as if they had not been cleaned in months, and the toilet paper holder did not exist. At least the beds were relatively comfortable with clean sheets. The surrounding area seems sketchy. No breakfast is offered. AVOID.
That’s saying something! Website says airport transfers, nope. Walk in front auto doors, don’t work. The entire building smells of smoke. The non smoking room 153 was disgusting. Bathroom was gross, wall lights destroyed and what was there was rusting off wall. The place is lowlife central, people hanging around after midnight. Beds looked like two year old made it. The worst hotel experience of my life
The reason I use the Rodeway when I am traveling to Connecticut for work is because Donna at the front desk is so amazing. She has the biggest smile when I walk into the lobby and more importantly she has my room ready and waiting. She is kind friendly and efficient. She makes every visit feel like home. Thank you Donna!
