17 Steakhouse and Bar

Came here to celebrate 3 birthdays with family and friends. The restaurant was very empty and we asked to sit in a nice area. There was very poor lighting where we sat. They couldn’t fix the issue either. It was so dark that we could not see our main courses. The server was likely new, as he really did not know many of the house recommendations and was not helpful. Appetizers were ok, but my steak was ordered medium and got it more well than medium. Another steak was over cooked as well. Chicken was ordered and was quite salty. Even the appetizers were just ok. Ordered calamari, escargots and French Onion Soup. They were ok, but nothing outstanding and not what you would expect from a restau...

My husband and I went for our 8 year anniversary. The gentleman that served us was very attentive and nice.Food options could be better priced, an appetizer tempura shrimp is $40.00 I thought that was a bit excessive. We both ordered steak with the twice baked potato, the potato wasn't edible the worse I have ever tasted the server brought it back at the end we asked for the bill and to my surprise the baked potato I ordered but didn't eat was still on the bill??? Wasn't the worse experience I've had but I definitely wouldn't go back. For the price I'd rather go to Ruth Chris.

Great amount of space and the large aquarium is a great touch. Had the 8 Oz striploin (med. Rare) which had a great flavor but came out luke warm and the au jus could use more seasoning. Some more lighting in the end party room would be helpful with alot of guests. Solid portions of the the side dishes (Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes*absolutely delicious*and signature fries). It is right in the middle of everything in that area showcasing a nice big sign so you don't miss it with an inviting lobby. Not a bad local steakhouse

I had the best steak of my life here on Valentine’s Day this year, my partner had the best crab legs they’ve ever tasted. Overall the food was amazing and the chefs here definitely know what they’re doing. The service and atmosphere was very rich and we did get quite a few stares for not dressing fancy enough for the place haha but that doesn’t matter because we still got served politely and our food was amazing. Walking in, it looked really quiet but the decor was very classic, from carpeting to the paintings to the furniture.Our server was amazing and his attention to detail was really impressive.Food wise, everything we had was amazing and that’s really hard to say these days. It also all arrived in time which we were pleased with. It was well worth the price

I went there for my wifes birthday and all the food was really good, the mushroom risotto is really really good as well as the Alberta beef mmmm so freaking good, the wine and atmosphere, the waiter was soo nice and had a great sense of humor, the sparkling watter and the wine Moscato I believe it was all really really good. I recomend this place 1000%.Parking: Really easy to find parking and the buikding is really nice

Definitely one of the Top Steakhouse Restaurants I’ve been to. The Tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection! The staff have been a pleasure to us and we loved the ambiance. Definitely worth going to! Highly recommend!

Steak was good and service was warm and sweet. Spend: $100+ per person which I think is a little expensive considering the food. Somehow I felt The Keg was better with a cheaper price lol
