It was a TRAUM! In mid-July 2020 we celebrated our wedding in the Festsaal of Hambach Castle. From planning to testing, the hygiene concept Corona worked great until the actual celebration! The service was excellent and the food was really delicious (especially the potato gratin and the basil Sorbet! The Festsaal was beautifully executed. Very elegant with white tablecloths, white coughs and colored lighting of the beautiful sandstone walls. The great advantage of this location is that far and wide there are no surrounding houses and you can celebrate without a curfew until the early hours of the morning. We thank the complete team of the restaurant 1832! A special thanks to the CEO Benjamin Paus and our banquet manager Matthias Rummler for the planning and organisation of our wedding! Also as locals you can feel comfortable in this place, which is covered by tourists. Small card with fresh food in very good quality, portions not mega big, but you get tired. Beautiful wine map with products from various prestigious Pfalzweinbauern. In terms of price somewhat upwards, i.e. not necessarily suitable for a walking stop (a small wine choir for 4.40€ is either a nausea or, if necessary, only a printing error on the card, good a peeling would never order anyway....
Great outdoor area with panoramic view in beautiful weather, also nice inside with large windows. With me the operation was nice, very good Rieslingschorle with semmelknödeln in Rahmsoße with mushrooms. Food in quality significantly above average, but also no longer cheap. On the map regional dishes and drinks.
I can't understand the negative reviews in any way. During my multiple visits I was always perfectly advised and served. Both the food and the respective beverage recommendations fit into the smallest detail. The price/performance ratio is also more than appropriate. 10/10 also to the managing director!
