1881 Kantine - Reserva de mesa

A cozy place in a great atmosphere. There were four of us in the restaurant. The food was completely ok, but not outstanding. You can't say much about the service if it's a self-service business. It's a shame that the staff isn't so flexible about offering a glass of water free of charge if you consume it for CHF 140.00. That seems too small-minded and hardly fits this company.

After waiting at the counter for 15 minutes, being seen and yet ignored, we decided to go to 1881. As we left the restaurant, a waitress came quickly. Unfortunately too late. That doesn't work at all.

Super friendly staff, amazing atmosphere and very beautiful food. Especially the sides and starters were delicious. The meat however was not a 5/5 for me. But I would definitely recommend :

Viel zu teuer für Selbstbedienung. Am Nachmittag zu lange Wartezeit. Dann muss man zu den Pommes das Ketchup noch separat bezahlen. Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Cool old building with neat outdoor seating with a few heaters and blankets. Lots of fun outdoor areas nearby too.
