1947 Restaurant Bar

To my surprise, many restaurants are closed on Sunday evening in London. Every time I looked up a vegan restaurant on Happy Cow, it turned out it was closed. Since it was late and I was hungry, I had no other option than to select a vegetarian restaurant close by. 1947 Restaurant and Bar is both an Indian and Italian restaurant. The entire menu is vegetarian, however only around 20% is vegan. Many more meals can be made vegan, but so many of them had cheese listed as an ingredient that I didn 't want to run the risk. What if there 's an error in communication between the waitress and the kitchen? Or what if the chef accidentally adds cheese out of habit? I had lots of time to make up my mind...

We tried to order vegan pizza, cappuccino, and Indian tea, but unfortunately none of these options were available due to a lack of ingredients. Additionally, the food was extremely spicy despite us mentioning our preference for milder dishes to the waitress beforehand. Each item had to be paid for separately, and even the still water was priced higher than usual (usually complimentary at other restaurants).

The vegetarian menu at this restaurant was a delightful balance of Indian flavors. As a starter, our waitress brought out a delicious bite-sized dish as a surprise. The vegetarian pizza was also excellent. Being able to choose from the entire menu felt like a bit of heaven on earth.

The all veggie menu card was a perfect combination of Indian an Italian food. As a starter, the waitress surprised us with some small food. The veggie pizza’s were also great. To be able to chose from the whole card is a little heaven on earth. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant seems to be doing well. It is a completely vegetarian restaurant that also accommodates vegan options for most dishes. I decided to try two dishes from the Indian menu and found them to be very flavorful.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food was amazing, with plenty of vegan options. The staff were all extremely friendly and provided fantastic customer service.
