Cyber City is my jam. Many a birthday or significant life achievement of my so called adult life has been celebrated here and I suspect this will continue for some years to come. This restaurant has been around for a long time and has gone through a few changes over the years. It is a good representation of a typical Hong Kong style diner with a karaoke bar. They also have a bar where you can get drinks, although it seems like the only option is beer. I have always enjoyed the food here and the prices are reasonable. I especially recommend the salt and pepper calamari, jellyfish dishes, and pork stewed with taro. Overall, a great spot for a casual meal, particularly for Hong Kong locals.
Cheap, BYO, nasty in a good way. As long as you know what you are getting into, 2002 Cyber City is a relatively consistent winner offering something a little different to the Brisbane food scene. Essentially it is a grunge y Fortitude Valley adjacent asian eatery with the twist of actually having some really decent food. <br/ <br/ Figure out what is good, great with a large group (book first), BYO like crazy. Better karaoke elsewhere though.
I came here with my friends to gobble down some Chinese food to protect our liver before our gay big night out at the Mega Beat. With an odd retro atmosphere and game containers, we had some decent Chinese dishes like deep fried beef with chilli sauce, fried rice, steam greens and deep fried calamaris. My friend said that this place always has the spaces for dining and chilling out before the party.

Cyber City is one of the successful Hong Kong Style Cafe in Brisbane. Strictly speaking, it's success is well over than those Hong Kong cafes running in Sunnybank area. It is not only running as a restaurant but also providing multi-entertainment facility such as Karaoke, Pin-ball machine and Pool tables games. No wonder it can be there over 13 years.
This restaurant is perfect for large groups, allows you to bring your own wine, and offers delicious and affordable food. The duck and pork ribs are particularly delicious. The decor is a bit odd and the service can be inconsistent, but I highly recommend it. It's always our top choice for hosting big gatherings and enjoying a fun night out.
Coming in here is really not about the food, but is all about the memory. well of course since 2002...they never change a bit and is always a good place to catch up with a bunch of friends after a long night in the valley.

What can I say? Cyber city has consistently been one of my favorite places for awesome chinese/fusion food and cheap beer! Ive been coming here for years and never leave disappointed. Keep up the good work legends!
