this place is characterized by terrible service. we have been taken by a guy in a super-Chiller shirt that was unfriendly for the extreme and who was simply not interested in taking care of the customers. I wanted to order a pastis, but they didn't have it, what's good, but if I said I had to think about what to take instead, he told me he wouldn't come back a second time. then he ignored me seriously? other waiters weren't much more helpful. another sign that st. remy is now completely corrupted.
When we first visited after it had first opened we were not at all impressed. However we decided to give it a 2nd chance to see whether it had improved and were so glad we did. Fantastic atmosphere with a great buzz. Extensive and good...wine list and although we did not order the food platters we were impressed with what we saw being served at other tables. Will certainly be returning on a regular basis
We visited this restaurant one Thursday evening with friends who live in Saint Remy. It is a wine bar in the middle of Saint Remy a lively, really fun spot and we had live music. We enjoyed a cheese, foie gras and charcuterie platter...which was very good and they have a excellent wine list. The party was now getting started by the time we left!
Loved this place. Great wine, food and service. Fun music. Lots of energy but still attentive and professional. The 2 person not being at a 4 seater seems to be a local thing and while I agree seems annoying I can understand it. Places are...small and people eat late so they cannot afford to miss out on two seats.
delicious food. the young chef is passionate and they can see that he goes to the farmer market every morning to collect organic local products. the end result is really delicious and highly recommend that they come to lunch to taste or stop the plate du jour...for some tapas in the evening. Don't miss this!
extremely hip weinbar on central ring road in st remy. the coolest quantity, with the best music and obviously a great selection of good weeps. the service can be a tad arrogant and slow, but only to roll with it, and observe how the local do. what they do. recommend the local Provençal rose (obviously.)
came to the evenings to take the aperitif in this wine bar. very nice atmosphere, idem for the server that took care of us in the evenings, possibility of restoration and boards that looked very appetizing. a nice little place to drink a drink with friends. very reasonable price.
