We ordered the Transylvanian layered cabbage with minced meat and Hungarian sausage, which was fantastic until we discovered it was cold in the middle. Our waiter promptly took it back to the oven and returned it quickly, steaming hot—truly superb! But it does make you wonder how such a mix-up occurs in a well-established place.
Next, we tried both types of wiener schnitzel served with French salad and fries (the fries were just average). However, the schnitzels were incredible—just look at the pictures! They were tender and juicy with the most delightful crumb coating.

I’ve been going to 21 for over 35 years. And have had always a great experience there. The food is still the same. Nothing beats their chicken schnitzel. Now I have my children going and they love it as well. It was so nice to catch up with some friends and have a good old classic meal. The portions were amazing. The service was fantastic, yes it’s a little bit dated but value for money long lasting memories. Nothing beats that. Looking forward to now taking my grandchildren.
