Any time we're in Boston we make sure to stop in at the 21st Amendment. The place is dripping in atmosphere....leaded glass windows look out on the State Capital, a fireplace cheerily burns in the back room, reflecting off burnished wood and weathered beams. The staff is professional and pleasant, the bar is well stocked and the food hits the spot. Generous portions, killer onion rings, and a thoughtful pub menu in the heart of Beacon Hill. There are also vegetarian offerings. I dropped in at St. Paddy's and had a great time. Cheers to the 21st. Good luck with your tomatoes this year, Pete.
We visited this pub a few days ago. We wanted to sit outside but there were no seats. The waitress said we could have a drink in the bar and she would call us when a table was ready which would be about 10 minutes. We drank our drinks and nothing happened and so we left. On leaving the premises we found that all of the tables apart from one was free. The girl who served us with the drinks also knew we were waiting because she gave us the drinks in plastic cups. Not satisfied with the service
