This place is the best. Believe all the terrific reviews. Naomi, our server at the counter was so attentive and wick getting our order to us. Our coffee never dipped more that a quarter down before we got a refill. We had the trout, cinnamon roll(yes, it's covered in butter), and strawberry crepes. Would drive down this street on a daily, decided to stop by and give it a try. The space is a bit small for a large group like mine. I highly recomend the pastramy sandwich and the thunderbird sandwich but a breakfast MUST is the cinnamon role with whipped butter its busy in the morning so if you dont want to wait go around 11ish... but def def will come back

I stopped here on the way from Yosemite to LA. Both service and food were excellent. The interior is classic diner, and as a tourist from Europe I loved the authenticity of this place. Really nice breakfast stop heading through Bakersfield on our way to Sequoia National Park. Old 50s style diner. Service was good with friendly staff, food fresh and very tasty. Can recommend the Spanish omelette.
