I frequent this restaurant often and have always had a positive experience with both the food and service. The portion sizes are well-balanced in relation to the pricing, similar to other restaurants with a similar concept (I liken it to a Middle Eastern Chipotle). I appreciate the option to customize my own bowl, making it easy to create a vegetarian meal.
I have not tried the wheat option due to sensitivity, but the basmati rice is delicious. The Tandoori chicken, Za'atar steak, and Falafel have all been flavorful and not dry like some other Middle Eastern places. I prefer mild flavors, so I have only tried the Tandoori, Garlic, and Lemon Basil sauces, which are great on their own or comb...
If you've read a review or two of mine you know middle eastern food is one of my favorites. It seems like this place is sort of a mash up, a sampling of foods from different areas. In the case here the dining experience is similar to Chipotle where you build your own dish. It's a fun way, but it can be daunting because there are so many choices. Overall I think the food quality is quite good and attempts to provide that homestyle experience. I've been going to this place since the first one, that I'm aware of opened up in Birmingham. I think the quality has reduced a bit since then, but still it's rather good. It's a nice departure from your typical fast food. I love the Sugar Cane fountain...
Food was delish. They should fix the drink machines though. UPDATE: I don't know how to reply, so I am editing my comment. The lemonade and guava passion fruit I had at the West Bloomfield location wasn't available here. I was told the machine broke sometime ago and you all haven't gotten it fixed. I came from Dearborn, and the juice was part of the reason. That alone took myreview from 5 stars to 3.
I recently tried some tasty Mediterranean cuisine at this restaurant. I ordered a bowl with chicken, falafel, and yellow rice. Although the items weren't as piping hot and fresh as I had hoped, the flavors were still fantastic. I especially enjoyed the pita bread, it was delicious. Overall, it was a great meal and reminded me of the flavors at Cava.

This place used to be our go-to, we’d order every week. Then it went downhill in a hurry. We’ve given it several chances over the past 6 months or so but I can’t remember the last time my order was on time, correct, and tasted like it should. Extremely disappointed
Wow, that was delicious! I had a bowl of shawarma and an order of falafel at this restaurant. The falafel was amazing! I am eager to return and sample more of the menu. The sauces were particularly tasty.

Amazing as always. One of my favorite places to eat, ever. Can never go wrong with the 'Honest bowl. Hummus and Coleslaw are a Must have in your bowl ?

It is a great fast casual mediatranen restaurant. I live there bowls and always get the beef. Bread is fresh and good.
Overpriced and low quality. They cut way too many corners and tastes bland. Never again
