Die Lage dieser Gaststätte ist traumhaft, wir saßen draussen vor dem Lokal. Heute reicht das aber sicher nicht mehr!Wir hatten einen Toast mit Spiegelei und Salat bestellt sowie Würstel mit Saft (= Gulaschsaft mit Frankfurterwürstel).Der Toast selbst wäre in Ordnung gewesen, doch leider ist er in der Marinade vom Salat geschwommen. Die Marinade vom Salat schmeckte hauptsächlich nach Senf und der Salat war nicht frisch.Die Würstel mit Saft waren ein schlechter Witz: Der "Saft" schmeckte nach fader Paprikasuppe mit Ziebel, Suppenwürfelgeschmack und klein geschnittenen Würstel. Als Österreicher fragen wir uns, wo da der Fleischgeschmack vom Gulasch geblieben ist? Vermutlich hat es nie eines ges...

Looking for lunch in Bad Ischl we chose the Sissy bar and restaurant. Pleasant spot in a little square. Bread basket was good. I ordered the potato and porcini soup. The men ordered sausage eggs, bacon and chips and the remaining lady Wiener schnitzel. It was all freshly cooked. Arrived very hot. Very tasty. My soup was excellent. Nice views over the little square. Clean toilets. We ate on the pavement. The cafe and restaurant inside were very grand. Good service apart from them clearing the plates when one member of the party were still eating. The toilets were clean

Schon beim Eintritt ziemlich mürrische Begrüßung. Servicepersonal wirkt angespannt und hektisch, obwohl der Gastraum halb leer war. Allerdings muss man zugestehen, dass manche Gäste auch dazu beitragen. Sind unschlüssig bei Bestellung und offenbar verwirrt beim Bezahlen. Das kann schon nerven. Preis für ein Hauspfandl / Schweinsmedaillons/Schwammerlsauce/Semmelknödel mit € 17.20 schon leicht übertrieben. Was allerdings wirklich ungenießbar ist, ist der Espresso. Da haben sie die Kaffeebohne vorbeigetragen.

We just walk in here, as we were very tired and hungry. We sit down, I checked the reviews, what are mainly negative, so we had low expectations.Lot of people mentioned the bad service, I didn't see any issues with the service, it was fine, average but fine.The atmosphere is too much 'Sissy style'. The restroom was quite dirty.We had comfort food, goulash soup and a 'Sissy-burger'.Both were ok. Nothing special but ok. Reserva una mesa ahora

Die Räume sind, nein waren einmal sehr schön, der Service sicherlich auch einmal vom Fach. Heute verbleibt ein Name und ein ansonsten überfordertes Personal, eine zugestellte Räumlichkeit und der Glaube, dass das hier mal ein führendes Café gewesen sein soll. Keinen Besuch wert.

The place is full of grand history of old times gone by and so is the disapointed experience the place is run down. Bad smell of deep fryers. Worn down carpets and upholstry. Stored furniture at entrance. Excellent prime location badly mentained

Locale storico ma trasandato e disordinato. Cucina ok, portate abbondanti. Maitre di sala scorbutico, insolente e maleducato che ha reso spiacevole una cena più che accettabile. Professionali e gentili i camerieri.

Restaurants are among the Turks that serve here. the former glory is gone and there are dirt and chaos. there was a drug user on the toilet and injected drug. we cannot recommend. Reserva una mesa ahora

Alles bestens! Wir wurden immer gut bedient und konnten köstlich speisen zu akzeptablen Preisen. Bei Schönwetter kann man heraußen in der Fußgängerzone sitzen.

We stopped at Cafe Sissy for drinks & snacks. The service was horrible and our waiter was openly rude!
