My wife, my brother and sister in law and I had our first experience of this Hilary's restaurant recently. First impression of the ambience was not great but we came to see what the food was like.Some of the items on the menu looked interesting,We ordered as starters the cheese arancini, crispy fried soft shell crab and marinated olives. For mains, we had 2 lots of the full rack of pork ribs, pepper squid salad and the grilled barramundi - all washed down with a beer, a bourbon and coke and a couple of bottles of Oyster Bay SB.The olives were tasty as nibbles and the cheese arancini balls were large and full of a a tasty cheese. Food here is way overrated for its quality. There is nothing new or special. The staff are impolite, orders came late, the lamb shanks we had as a special for the night were chewy. Noisy, dark place, it is just ok.
