Based on previous reviews and the name “312” which I suspected refers to “Chicago” Beef Sausage I gave this place a try. What a total disappointment. I ordered the Italian Beef with Mozzarella. The gravy (juice for you non-Chicagoians) was boring. It lacked any spice and was like water. The meat in the sandwich was equally as boring lacking any true Italian Beef flavor. I recently ordered a combo; you changed the bread. The bread is cheap; it falls apart. I will NOT order a beef or combo if this is the best you can do. Your business has been open and running since this Covid thing started. There is ZERO reason to BUY CHEAP…At least give the patron an option of cheap vs EXPECTED. Very disappointed…wrong direction.
Quaint updated interior, friendly staff. They were out of Italian Beef and Gyros, in their defense, we didn't show up until right before they closed. The food we did have was hot, and sort of flavorful. Next time we will try to make it during more normal busy hours.
I haven't had a negative experience at this restaurant until tonight. I was quite disappointed to find that I paid nearly $3.00 for such a tiny cannoli. I'm really hoping this isn't the standard size because if it is, I'm neither impressed nor happy about it.

The restaurant is closed due to a fire that occurred on July 7, 2021. According to a notice posted on the door, they plan to reopen once the cleanup is complete.
Had the Italian beef fried onions cheese was good but every there was a sharp taste that left you with a after taste in your mouth cilantro?
I'm happy to see them open again! They were bustling and really putting in the effort. The beef and sausage were excellent!
Outstanding authentic Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, Italian sausage and other sandwiches. No hamburgers.
