360o Restaurant Piz Gloria

We made the journey to this restaurant by various cable cars to the rotating restaurant made famous by the James Bond films. We received a welcome drink of Champagne when we arrived. Seated in the restaurant we looked out on amazing views which changed as the restaurant revolved. Fortunately the weather was very good. The food was buffet style and was good but one male waiter was very ignorant and rude. Everything was James Bond themed with a Bond World museum underneath the restaurant. Not a cheap excursion but well worth it. On the return trip we stopped off at Murren for an ice cream.

Das Restaurant auf dem Schilthorn bietet mit seiner Aussicht auf ein einzigartiges Erlebnis. Das Restaurant besteht aus zwei Teilen. Der äussere Rand dreht sich um 360 Grad, während der innere Teil stationär ist. Wenn man mit Aussicht essen will, muss man einen Tisch im äusseren Teil wählen. Da diese Tische aber sehr beliebt sind, muss man unbedingt vorher reservieren. Wir fanden das Essen im Restaurant gut, aber natürlich wegen der Location auch teuer. Gelohnt hat es sich aber. Man kann oben übrigens auch brunchen.

Wir sind oft hier mit Besucher aus dem Ausland, denn die Nähe zu den Alpen und der Eindruck vor diesen Steinriesen sind hier einmalig und können fast nicht besser sein. Die Reise lohnt sich immer wieder obwohl für einzelne bis fünfer Gruppe unbezahlbar sind.Die Bedienung ist gut aber es ist nicht einfach bei solchen Touristen-Andrang in der Hochsaison die Übersicht zu halten. Man will ja nicht aufdrängen aber es wird wohl nötig sein wenn es so weiter geht.Die Qualität der Speisen ist ok.

Choose a day where the clouds are few and take the cable car up to Piz Gloria and have lunch in the revolving restaurant. A full revolution takes c.48 minutes by which time you will have eaten your fill and enjoyed the 360 degree views...of the neighbouring mountains and beyond. personal total überfordert und unfreundlich. angeblich kein pouletnougets mit Pommes für Kinder später kinderkarte gesehen es hat. normaler Hamburger nur Fleisch und Brötchen und wenig Pommes 23 fr. übertrieben. Fitness Teller ohne Salat muss separat bezahlt werden. ist unmöglich wie lange man warten muss zum bestellen und dann bis die Getränke kommen schade in so einem Restaurant.

Waiters are so rude. They yelled at us because we just asked for more detail of the menu. Moreover, We had to wait so long to order because they totally ignored us. They just sat near our table and chilled without care for their customers. Although the view is beautiful, it can't compensate with BAD SERVICE !!!!!!

Nach einigen Bemühungen konnten wir an einem Tisch im "Drehteil" Platz nehmen. Das ganze Reservationssystem hat noch viel Verbesserungsbedarf (warum ist ein ganzer Tisch reserviert, wenn er nur von 2 Personen beansprucht wird? Ausflugsrestaurant!). Das Essen war sehr gut, sowie auch der Service.

Am Vormittag bis 14 Uhr Brunch für CHF 33.--. Prosecco, Säfte, Salat, kaltes und warmes Buffet, Kaffee, Früchte. Eine Reservation über die Website lohnt sich. Wir bekamen Plätze direkt am Fenster mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Reserva una mesa ahora

Nur schon die Aussicht ist super. Wir waren bloß zum Dessert der, die Quarktorte war aber sehr gut. Das Bezahlen zog sich dann aber in die Länge, da die Mitarbeiter das Frühstück auftischen mussten.

We had the brunch and it is a good value considering that this is in a tourist spot. It has a lot of options and the view is stunning.
