Ok, when I was in Texas, I said Smoke Shack was the best BBQ I've ever had. I recant that statement. I hope John Rivers reads these reviews. Absolutely no consistency at this location. Last week I ate here the coleslaw was dry and very little flavor. Cheese grits were overcooked. Staff were fooling around behind the counter. Not attentive to customers needs. Never received my fries because they forgot and had to wait!This weekend i went back to give it one more try. The moist brisket in my sandwich was so over salted. I’ve never tasted brisket like this before. It was horrible. I asked for well done fries and they cooked them regular. Father-in-law wanted BBQ so we tried 4 Rivers Smokehouse by The Loop. We got (2) Happy Herds to feed 7 people. Plenty left over to take home. It allowed us to try all the meat options. I personally liked side options corn, green beans, smoked beans and corn bread were all on point. Fresh, delicious and didn’t taste like they had been in steam table for long. We also added a 1/2 rack of ribs, when I return I will be getting ribs. They were fall off the bone and not over seasoned. The restaurant, patio and bathrooms were all immaculate. Staff was helpful.I also like that you serve yourself for drinks so no waiting and they have all the Togo boxes and containers out so you can box up left overs...
We discovered 4 Rivers several years ago, and now, we go each time we are in town. This was our first time at this location, and it was great. Very bright and clean and everyone working there was very friendly. The bbq is always moist and flavorful, and their sides are outstanding. Our son is vegetarian and hasn't had bbq in years. What a surprise to see they had vegan burnt ends! He was so happy! Oh, and we also are big fans of Cheerwine, and 4 Rivers offers it as a fountain drink which is quite refreshing!

4 Rivers provides a consistently excellent BBQ experience with every visit. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but one dish you absolutely must try is the sweet potato casserole—it's so delicious that you might as well consider it dessert! The ribs are outstanding, and the burnt ends are my personal favorite. Make sure to stop by 4 Rivers for an amazing grilling experience!
The food was ok but not over the top. You need sauces and or pepper salt for most of the meat. But its absolutely ok for the pricing.But I can absolutely recommend the BBQ Beans. 4 Rivers is one of best restaurant in Central Florida. The food is amazing and the staff are the greatest.I recommend 4 Rivers for families, couples, groups and everyone who wants to eat delicious food while enjoy an awesome place to be.

The food was delicious. The signature sauce Id great! My husband had the messy dog and it was really good. I had the smoked chicken and it wasnt dry at all. Very good place to order food from.
