40 Paper - Reservar una mesa

I’ve never left a review, but had to on this one, this is a 1 star dressed as a 4 star because I can’t sink to the level of the unit I’m about to refer to. The chef here goes to other local restaurants and ignorantly leaves bad reviews. He came to my restaurant, shoved his business card in my managers clearly occupied hands and proceeded to order off of our small plates section that has house milled masa products, laminated doughs and hyper seasonal proteins $10-15 complaining there was no “bang for buck”, shortly after complimenting everything like he was on the food network. After that, he ignorantly and continuously called our Costa Rican food Cuban hey theyre all the same, right? , critiqued our atmosphere on an off season Monday night then passed the bill off entirely to his guest like the real hospitable person he is. Meanwhile I was coincidentally at this restaurant when I saw the review come in, stating the above. I had the pleasure of eating flatbreads from the freezer, unopened mussels, a Caesar salad that was laughable and shishito peppers in the middle of May with the most broken romesco I’ve ever seen, littered in syscos finest micro greens. Again, I’m all for supporting my local community even if the food needs a doctor, but the ignorance of this guy who is serving sheer lazy mediocrity forced me to leave this review.

This place is a hidden gem. The quality of the food and drinks was top notch and the service was friendly and professional. Cocktails were expertly made and creative without being over the top. Pasta dishes were done perfectly and the portion sizes were just right, not overwhelming. Nice wine selections, and dessert choices were also delicious. Staff was on top of things and it was clear that they were genuinely into what they do and work hard to create a high quality experience and vibe. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend if you're in Camden!

Not a fan. The vibe was a bit run down and dark. Not a happening restaurant. The menu is limited and we got flat bread. Nothing to write home about. We don’t drink and a lot seem to write about the bar so maybe just not for us.

Excellent service and cuisine ....Osa Bucco is to die for, amole chef salad..... pepper would have been nicer .. yummy dessert

Great bar! The bar tender makes his own amaros and creates awesome cocktails.
