My husband and I just wanted to be away from the kids for a moment and we just wanted to have a drink. We stayed up from 3 hours and wanted to stay longer, but parents' calls lol. There were temperature and safety controls before you entered. The venue was an open space, nothing spectacular but clean, even the bathroom. The menu was your typical bar menu. wings, mozzarella sticks, etc. but was very good. The bartenders were excellent; they do not have a drink card, you can order what you want. The place was surprisingly crowded for a Monday. They had karaoke that had a lot of fun and the DJ was really dope. If Mondays were this poppin, I can only imagine what the Vibes are closer to the end of the week. I'll come back to find out what happened.
This place is great when you dance, drink and communicate with your people. The drinks are affordable, $5 a shot of $2 chaser. All kinds of blacks were there, from 21 to golden years, all sexes, dressed imagination, streetwear and cute sweat. They played house music and I was also there for old school, new school and carribean sets. We went on Wednesday at 9 a.m. for drinks and there were great people watching, people playing pool, watching an NBA game and dancing. I'm hard to dance today. We got food for the first time, shrimps and pommes, it was good, but not the reason to go. More importantly, this is a bar in black neighborhood! Show your support!
I went on a a Sunday. It was real clean and cozy. The bartender was amazing. She was very attentive and a great spirit. The food was excellent. They followed all CDC guidelines with tables,sanitizer,bathroom,etc. Habeebah was the best bartender I’ve had in a long time . Her drinks and customer service is grade A. I will come back if that energy is there all the time.
This place had previously attached a negative stigma to it, but it has completely improved. You made renovations. They serve the food that is good. The dj's Spin is a beautiful mix of old and new music. Plus good club music...a must in this area. As far as I can say, the best day is Friday.
