44 Cafe - Reservar una mesa

We stopped off here to get a bit to eat. It’s very close to Place de Verdun. Their baguettes are just the best. I had the number 44 (goats cheese, fig jam, lettuce and ham). The kids had freshly made waffles with Nutella and my husband had a chicken combo. We went back 2 days later and I tried the tuna baguette which didn’t disappoint. Lovely gentleman running the cafe and so very reasonably priced.

I’ve eaten here a few times now and it has been consistently excellent. The bread is top quality and the choice of sandwiches is varied and interesting. They guy behind the counter is clearly passionate about his sandwiches and does a great job.

Popped in off the street, excellent service by English speaking staff who fully explained the menu and described the food in detail, Food freshly cooked. Fantastic drop in Cafe for food on the go! Would definitely recommend,

Nice Panini. Simple menu. Great for a bite on the go. Only two tables to dine on. If no table available just take away food and head to square around the corner.

Very friendly service. The food is fresh and tasty. Located in the old town I would prefer this cafe to a hotel breakfast.
