5 Burro Cafe - Reservar una mesa

We ate here after a concert at Forest Hills Stadium. It's also a short walk from the subway so very convenient. We were told it might be a 30 minute wait but actually got seated in the covered sidewalk area in about 10 minutes. Service was prompt andfriendly but we seemed to lose our waiter halfway through but fortunately the other waiter serving a nearby table took care ofus the rest of the time. Judging by how many people knew the hostess by name I'm sure this must be popular with the locals. Ihad the fajitas de carne which was a large plate and enough tortillas to eat it all. The steak wasn't seasoned as well as I'mused to, but it did have a good flavor. Plenty of grilled onions and bell peppers went well with the meat. I didn't care for therice but everything else included the house salsa and margarita was great and the prices reasonable.

I love this spot, from being able to manage the music to the shrimp quesadilla, and I can't forget the Margaritas. I have gone with friends or my boyfriend we always have a great time. Sometimes the wait can be long, but you can also sit by the bar untilyour table is set.
