5 Burro Cafe - Reserva de mesa

We ate here after a concert at Forest Hills Stadium. It's also a short walk from the subway so very convenient. We were told it might be a 30 minute wait but actually got seated in the covered sidewalk area in about 10 minutes. Service was prompt and friendly but we seemed to lose our waiter halfway through but fortunately the other waiter serving a nearby table took care of us the rest of the time. Judging by how many people knew the hostess by name I'm sure this must be popular with the locals. I had the fajitas de carne which was a large plate and enough tortillas to eat it all. I was first introduced to this restaurant about 10 years ago. Every time my daughter and I finished watching a movie, we used to come to eat at this place. I moved out of the country for a few years and decided to come back to this place to celebrate my brother's birthday and try the delicious steak and frozen margaritas, but unfortunately, the lack of empathy, knowledge of customer service we received from the host and waiter was deplorable, did not enjoy at all the food. I hope they will take the corrections needed and wish you well , but after being a loyal customer, I am forced to take my business to other restaurants.

I’m convinced 5 Burros has the best frozen margaritas in Queens. I went around late brunch time on the weekend and had great service. The food looked and tasted amazing. Definitely one of my favorites in the neighborhood but you’ll have a harder time enjoying it when its later in the day or weekends at night because it gets crazy busy so service might be slower.

So I’ve been coming to 5 burros for over 5years and I LOVEEEE THIS PLACE !! The best tacos in NY hands down !! 10/10 highly recommend!! The frozen margaritas definitely get the job done . Amazing food drinks. Was able to walk right in and get a seat on a Thursday. But it does get super busy during peak hours so make sure you make a reservation for larger parties. I got a marg on the rocks and it was very yummy. For food I usually get the flautas but the enchiladas are also really good. Haven't really tried much else.

5 burros is always a great time.Oh my god Chef Jaime has outdone himself.Tonight I had the mussels with garlic and white.Soo good. Of course my bartender Tim is awesome and a rockstar. I have my usual coconut margherita.He is such a good mixologist that anything he makes is going to be off the hook.

I love this spot, from being able to manage the music to the shrimp quesadilla, and I can't forget the Margaritas. I have gone with friends or my boyfriend we always have a great time. Sometimes the wait can be long, but you can also sit by the bar until your table is set.

Place is a small gem. Service was amazing. Drinks were beyond delicious and food was next level fresh. This is my new go too Mexican restaurant on my very frequent visit to New York. Again. If you love frozen margaritas. You really cannot go wrong. Reserva una mesa ahora

Queens' restaurant row is as mellow as it gets. Attentive but not intrusive waitstaff. Not stuffy like across the bridge. My friend of swears by this place for Mexican fare in Forest Hills. She's right. Good eats and delicious frozen margaritas.

I had a great time here. The waitress was patient and kind in seating us, giving us suggestions on the menu. Everything we had was so tasty. I recommend the skirt steak and Avocado Rellenos! Love this spot
