My husband, myself, and a couple of good friends dined at 50 Fifty Asian Fusion in Claremont, last night for the first time as per my suggestion. We do a podcast in the area on most Saturdays and after the podcast we go to dinner most of the time. I’m the one that scouts out different restaurants and makes the reservations etc. When I called to make the reservation,Joyce, the owner was the one that answered the phone. Great menu choices. Pad Thai n Curry are two of my favorites. They serve a variety of Asian recipes but focusing on Thai. We had Pad Thai that had noodles with shrimp chicken n tofu. It was great and good portions. We started with beef dumplings that were tasty and done right. The jasmine tea is very tasty n aromatic. They were busy with 2 large tables and a bunch of take out orders. We got there at 5 pm on Friday. The waitress seated us and the owner came to our table and apologized in advance that food may take a little longer. We were ok to just sit back n relax n had appetizers first. Been here several times and it gets better each time! Had date night here last night and ate Joyce's special beef and vegetable stew, which convinced me that this was the only way beef should ever be consumed. incredible. I've had Buddha's way as well, and Joyce's fried rice. SO GOOD!!! Great service, great ambiance, incredible food. what more could you ask for??!? Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, most dishes can be made vegetarian if they aren't already Kid-friendliness: Kids would be fine here!
100% sure their “veggie dumplings” are the frozen ones from Trader Joe’s and they charge $9. The tofu was hardly cooked and the portions a little small. With that being said, their sauces are really good and packed with flavor. They were also accommodating to vegans which is why I gave 3 stars but their food is overpriced for what you get. I tried this place for the first time all by accident, because the restaurant Nextdoor that I wanted to eat at apparently shut down. I was so glad I gave it a chance. Their food was so super tasty and fresh. My 8 yr old daughter loves pad see ew, which was not on the menu but they made it for her. The flavor was spot on and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I will definitely be dining here again.
Great little gem with delicious food and charming service. The sweetest waitress in the world served us beautifully, with lively formal vows. We were visitors in town and longing for some Thai deliciousness.Fifty/50 hits the spot. And it’s right near the center of town called the village! Vegetarian options: Lots of crunchy vegetables on hand.

Absolutely amazing dishes! We had to start the mini-puffs, and split pad Thai and honey pork lungs. The aromas and freshness cannot be beaten! It was our first time here and not the last. The staff was super friendly and very nice. We had a great meal and we'll be back soon.
