Tried this place for a weekday lunch after too much hype from friends and social media. Great spot in a well established food and boutique stretch. The decor and position was good, however there were a lot of similarities in terms of structure with the neighbors especially when you sit outside. I've never had a bad brunch before.. until now. Decided to give in to the hype and try it out one morning, instant regret. First of all, the wait for a table was about 30 minutes, when there were some empty spots available.. no sign of being reserved so I'm not sure why they weren't offered. Once we got a table and ordered, the wait was another 30 minutes. We were given a bottle of table water, but the glasses came out 10 minutes later. When the food came out, I have to say it looked amazing. However, it turned out to be the most bland and tasteless meal I've had for a long time. We went for lunch on a Saturday and only waited 15 mins for a seat (which was overlooking the diners in the adjoining restaurant so that was a bit awkward.... get some screening!!). We had the Oreo Milkshake (45min wait) and savory waffles (20mins).. The milkshake was not as sweet or sickly as I anticipated, and enjoyed it! The waffles were fine but needed some sort of sauce on the dish. Lots to choose from on the menu and it's not all sweet though the milkshakes are the star attraction here and you can expect a wait and for your food to be delivered well before the shake. After hearing good things about this place I decided to try this for my birthday. Firstly we had to line up for about 10 minutes, but if you're willing to wait, it's all part of the experience. Once we were seated we noticed the dim lightning which was nice but the music was a little bit too loud to have a comfortable conversation in a group. The loud music is the only thing I would criticise. The food is everything everyone raved about and more! Everyone tried something different and loved it. They even offer delicious vegan dessert options.

50SIXONE never disappoints for that Amazing decadent shake! But you may not know it does great coffee and small snacks too. I love the shady,0 doggo friendly outdoor area and as the weather heats up, I'd recommend you try the delicious gelato on offer. Drop in soon for a quick bite you will get friendly service with a smile even if you just get a coffee
