A 5-star rating is OMG I cannot expect to come back. A 4-star review is that I was really impressed. I give this place a solid 3. It was my first time there. The staff was good, our new waitress seemed very concerned. I have the feeling that they threw her in too early, she was not familiar with the menu. There were 4 of us. 2 had salads, 2 had sandwiches. My meal was right. (I asked if they could leave the celery in my salad. the nothing I don't do at home, but I was happy with it. we visited from the state. the place was not too busy, Monday evening, and my attention was immediately drawn to the very unique eclectic facility. the main element that made our stay was our waitress jena, who did an excellent job by not only taking part in our dining room needs, but also with recommendations to see or visit places. such a positive and outgoing attitude has made our first visit to missouri completely more than welcome and that eating was really great. we had the tater dead sharp, very tasty. my family had our first visit in a 54th street on a Monday evening. waited less than 10 minutes to dinner. we had the nachos and we'd have a good starter. we had the triple club, the French dip, the chicken bacon sandwich. all that was very good. probably the best French dip I've ever had. they were busy, but tyler kept our drinks full and took care of us very well. we all recommend this place for the taste!
I'm here for the first time today. The food was really good and portions were great! The prices are also really reasonable and the happy hour prices are even better! The staff was really friendly and even the staff that didn't work has interacted with us and made us welcome. I can't wait to go back and I hope the management team knows that they are some really great employees working here.
