Visiting from Milwaukee WI. I was looking forward to eating here, since the menu looked appealing. This wasn't the case. When I arrived. There was no host to greet or seat Mr. I had to walk over to the bar and ask for service. I chose to sit at the bar, since I was by myself. The bartender made me a mojito, which wasn't good at all. It was missing the balance of the line. Also, I could taste more alcohol, than syrup or club soda. The mint leaves weren't fresh. I barelydrank it. I ordered the shrimp and grits, with a side of Aspargus. The presentation was great. However, the taste wasn't. The grits were lumpy and bland. The bacon gave it a funny taste. I never had shrimp and grits with bacon....
Two of us went for an early evening dinner. We were seated promptly at our choice of table and the food arrived quickly. I had the Caesar salad with anchovies and it was tasty. We ordered the truffle Parmesan fries for an appetizer and both ordered the filet with asparagus. One ordered the steak medium and one medium rare and both were prepared correctly.
We had brunch and it was good, however I ordered the chicken and waffles, and the syrup I was given was freezing cold. It was obvious it had been refrigerated. It was making my waffle cold, so I requested WARMED syrup. All I was given was more refrigerated syrup. I don’t mean to be rude, but who serves cold syrup with waffles. It was disappointing.
I was so impressed with the food, the service, and the atmosphere!! It was my friend's birthday and our first timing dining inside the restaurant. She was totally impressed and she is quite difficult to please. We had fun and we will definitely patronize the establishment again....Great job 8 West Grille!!!

In town for BPAC show. Wanted to be able to get in and out in time for show. The service and food were great!! However getting in touch with the restaurant to make reservations was a hassle.
I bring my daughter here to eat for her graduation party and everything was nice and clean the atmosphere was good the food and service was great I definitely reject family and friends
The staff was extremely friendly, even though they were busy on closing day. They managed to keep smiles on their faces and were very warm and welcoming!
The food was delicious, and the service was prompt, even with the entire restaurant full due to an event.
