801 Chophouse Minneapolis

We enjoyed dinner for our Anniversary. This was immediately recognized by the staff and our table was modestly decorated for this which was nice. Our server was very attentive to anything we needed but was not intrusive. Noise level provided some good vibe which is nice for a steak house, not TOO quiet. We ordered prime rib which was excellent and good portion. The prix fixe menu allowed for good upgrade opportunities. Value of the food was fairly good. I would rate food in the upper third and prices that matched. I recommend 801 for anyone who is more interested in knowing what they are getting and a nice environment for all occasions. The menu was straight forward so probably not the ideal...

This place is not for the people who don’t like meat. However the salads are amazing. The only thing I was not please with is no na beer or wine or champagne. It was my dads birthday and he doesn’t drink. They should’ve had at least one option.

Wow, we had an amazing dinner at 801 Chophouse last night. Everything was just terrific from being greeted at the door to leaving for our hotel. Our server was AJ and he made everything great.

Great food. For the caliber of the place the service was lacking. Okay cocktails, forgetful and poorly trained wait staff. Decor in need of massive upgrade.

One of the best meals of my life! Prime rib was like bitter and the seafood could have not been more fresh.
