"Very nice restaurant, a little slow service, but the food was on it. One thing bothered our table, which was that we were there for the whole time and it was cold and even our food after a few minutes. Other then that, a beautiful relaxing atmosphere"

As is the case everywhere these days, portion sizes at this restaurant have become smaller while prices have increased. I used to always order meals priced at $9.99, but that’s no longer the case. I started with the balsamic chicken dinner, which used to come with two pieces of chicken. Even before COVID, that was reduced to just one piece. I used to get double rice with my meal, but now I received a tiny side salad without dressing and some asparagus, both of which I had to pay for, even though the side salad was never charged before. I expected to be charged for the asparagus, but not for the salad. Moreover, the online menu doesn't display prices for everything, making it difficult to ver...
Hard to find places like this. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great variety and most importantly, fantastic food! I haven't lived in this area for too long but long enough to know some of the local favorites. 99 definitely falls into that category. Usually I pick and buy what I'm familiar with, as to avoid disappointment due to myself being horribly picky. However, very rarely, I'll come across a restaurant that supercedes expectation. Which can lead me to feel that I'm in a comfortable enough position to open myself to a much broader selection, knowing there's very little chance of being let down. I've been to this restaurant a couple times now and have tried various dishes and desserts...
I was really looking forward to my visit after not having been to this restaurant in a while, but unfortunately, I ended up disappointed. The popcorn they serve was not fresh like it usually is, and the meal I ordered was not worth the $17. The steak had an odd texture, almost like it was overcooked, making it unappetizing. The chicken, while it had a promising appearance, lacked flavor and was quite bland, so I couldn’t enjoy much of it. I decided not to send my food back, though. Overall, aside from having a great waitress, my experience was disappointing due to the poor quality of the food. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to friends or family.
I dined there on St. Patrick's Day with my husband. He ordered the corned beef dinner and was quite pleased with it, while I had a chicken salad that was also excellent. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and made our experience enjoyable. We don't go out to eat often because, well, people, but this visit was a pleasant one and we would certainly come back. One suggestion I have is that after wiping down a table, it would be nice if you could dry it off as well; it was a bit unpleasant having to do that myself. Reserva una mesa ahora
I ordered the hot lobster roll special. When I received my plate the lobster roll was just Luke warm and there was hardly any butter on it. The only melted butter was on the French fries. I asked the waitress for some warm butter to put on it. It did help somewhat and I only ate half of it. We go to 99 house frequently and are happy with our orders but not this time.Worst lobster roll I have ever eaten. The soup and petite dessert were good. No more lobster rolls for me there. I sat at the bar to avoid waiting for a table. My sister ordered steak, and her entire meal was excellent. Unfortunately, my meal wasn't as good as the last time I had it, which is why I'm giving a 4-star review instead of 5. I ordered the Mediterranean bowl, and while it had tasted fantastic a few weeks ago, this time it was lacking flavor and not as moist. I'm quite disappointed because I really love 99 Restaurant, and I haven't felt this let down in all the years I've been going there.
Stopped by for lunch and the bartender greeted me wearing a jersey from Major League! Attentive and prompt service. Beer was cold and a great deal on a fried shrimp platter! Large portion for the price . Not only do I recommend the food, the Horseshoe Ale is amazing! A must visit for any sporting event! 5+ stars! I will be back!
I’ve had an amazing experience with everything I’ve tried here. The restaurant is spacious, so there’s usually no wait, and they serve you quickly. The prices are very reasonable—I paid just $54 for three people. My 6-year-old absolutely loves coming to this restaurant (I think it’s the popcorn that wins him over)! Reserva una mesa ahora
A few weeks ago, I visited this restaurant and enjoyed some chips, salsa, and beer. While there wasn't much to rave about in terms of food, the atmosphere was fantastic. The bartender, whose name I can't recall but whose forearms reminded me of Popeye, was excellent. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!
