The place is under new ownership and their Hainanese Chicken Rice is their specialty. They do the dish justice and if you are coming here, I highly recommend it. Our criticism is that their other dishes are more average, and their congee was somewhat undercooked. Still, absolutely worth stopping by for the Hainan Chicken, if nothing else, and their service was great.
New ownership and their specialty ?Hainan? chicken is really good! I also love their soy sauce fried noodle and chicken wings which was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Also the new owners are so nice and comp my kids 2 of her Hong Kong style milk tea. Since when can you find comp and friendly service in an Asian restaurant?!?!?
The Hainan chicken was juicy and flavorful, service was fast, friendly and attentive. Under new ownership recently. Rice could be more flavorful but I'm still satisfied. Coconut soup doesn't have any actual chicken in it, but the flavor of the broth pairs well with the Hainan chicken.
New management? New kitchen staff? Whatever it is that changed, please keep it up! Conversed with the dude staffed there, very friendly and helpful. This is one of the best places for Cantonese food in the area. While some dishes aren't on the menu, I visited with a friend who speaks Cantonese, and we enjoyed a delicious fish cooked in a metal wok that was incredibly flavorful. It paired perfectly with rice.
This was my first order, but certainly not my last! I was very satisfied and truly enjoyed my dinner. I've finally found the best beef ho fun with gravy. The only thing I hope for next time is that the vegetables aren't overcooked.
Very nice, small but surprisingly good food. Next to a big Asian grocery so they can get fresh seafood quick. Not a fancy place but hong kong style dishes are good. Their satay's not bad.
