A Carpa - Reserva de mesa

Unfortunately this restaurant is no more after many lovely meals at A Carpa Antonio his wife have decided to retire. We wish them well in their retirement A new restaurant opened this week under the new name of Graces. Completely refurbished looking ultra modern, we ate there tonight, experienced many teething problems but it’s early days so will re visit hopefully have a more successful enjoyable time!

A Carpa is always our first and go to restaurant choice when we come to Vilamoura. Something for everyone sardines for mum, kebabs or Portuguese steak for dad and always the grilled chicken for the teens. Same jokes from the waiters, year in, year out and always a complimentary Baileys to finish off. What’s not to love. Reliably good.

Great wee restaurant well worth a visit. Arrived in Vilamoura a week ago and have eaten here twice already. Home cooked food is superb, especially their home cooked chips and prawns, mixed kebab and chicken all very tasty. Very reasonable, good service and staff so welcoming and friendly. Definitely would recommend.

This is my favourite restaurant in Vilamoura Every time I come on holiday I eat here and the staff have become old friends. I recommend the Portuguese Steak or the Swordfish both are the best I’ve had. Once you have visited I’m sure you will keep going back to try the rest of the menu!! Reserva una mesa ahora

A Carpa is now closed due to the owners retirement and we’ll miss the food, banter and complimentary Baileys! Very fond memories indeed. But it’s replacement, Graces, is very good and worth a try.

I really recommend visiting this restaurant, meals are delicious especially meat and fishes !! Maybe it does not look from the outside very fancy but the staff and the food is on the high quality

Currently closed we walked to go to this restaurant tonight as we have previously been. But it was closed, certain parts were boarded up. Not sure if closed fully but worth a call first.

It is what it is. A plain no nonsense restaurant. Food is acceptable and the service is friendly. Prices reflect the level . For a good value meal hard to beat. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was low quality catering for tourists, frozen fish in breadcrumbs! Avoid this restaurant unless all you want is a cheap meal to fill your stomach

Lovely restaurant been going for year. Food lovely. Best chips 5star. Amazing. Also house wine very good. Staff are so thoughtful nothing a problem.
