A La Ferme - Reservar una mesa

I ate here on a Thursday evening, on arrival I received a very warm and friendly greeting. I had booked on line as a solo traveller I wanted to make sure I had somewhere for dinner. Initially I couldn’t find the restaurant on google maps...so phoned them. A very friendly young lady explained how I could get to the restaurant in English, a bonus as my French is very limited. It’s a characterful place with rustic charm. I was shown to my table at the back of the restaurant, perfect to watch the comings and goings of guests and soak up the ambience without feeling like I was alone. After driving up in the rain, having a GPS issue for our apartment and lugging up our suitcases 5 floors) we walked down rue Marchal Joffre stopping in at the first restaurant. And we are glad we did service attentive, translated the menu...to English and the food was great. After a week in the Loire Valley we were not sure that the quality would transfer to a larger city. But our concerns were unfounded. He had fois gras and steak frites, I had carpaccio and the fish special. All were cooked perfectly and delicious. The wine list was limited but reasonably priced. We just might go back depending on our schedule.

a pleasant restaurant, but eating was quite average. most of the tables had steak and chips, the latter looked frozen out, which is always a disappointment. I felt brave and had the andouiette, a tripe sausage for my main course, possibly not that. most reasonable option after a long trip and the waitress was friendly enough to ask if I was safe. I was determined and was rewarded with a very pleasant tasty bite. nothing to rust over the total, but also to criticize nothing important.

they are in the did good in serving the farm (ferme) food. my order is the duck (as recorded in the uploaded image) also terrine and sausages are good. and the teller size is what people only need after they burn some calorie in the palast....price is also a factor to be favorable than we paid less than €90 for three adult.

After having visited the Château with friends, we found this lovely restaurant a short distance away. The service was very good, friendly and prompt and the food absolutely delicious especially the meat scewers. The menu was all in french but not an issue with google...translate Highly recommended!!!

Really good place Near the Potager du Roi, open Sundays. The owner is very sweet and helpful. I had the hangar steak which was fantastic and the salad with walnuts and melted Camembert which was divine. Great, casual place and the food is wonderful- great...price also!

Read the reviews decided it was worth a visit.. it was! An enjoyable meal, with friendly staff. No English menu but managed to work it out. A nice local feel restaurant. Would be happy to return. The place had a nice relaxed feel to...it.

we had dinner here after we visited fililles and it was great. eat nicely cooked, the right menu so all fresh. very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. highly recommended.
