This restaurant was a highlight of our trip to the Alsace wine country region. Charming, delicious food, and great service to boot. As vegans, we had prepared to not eat out, and had packed sandwiches with us. Preliminary research indicated we wouldn’t find much food available that was vegan in the area. We literally stumbled upon the place while waiting for our friends to get a pretzel from a shop across the street. We initially suggested it for our friends who are vegetarian and whose MIL doesn’t like to stray from simple dishes, like pasta. Then we realized there were a few vegan options on the menu, and the decision was made.FOOD: Awesome. Server recommended the two dishes we were eyeing...
We were there in our holiday and it was a really nice experience. The evening before there was no free table, but the staff was really polite and nice. I don't unterstand why there are so much negative ratings because during our stay, everything was pretty fine. When we got a free table, the service was very nice, the food was good and even all tables were taken - it was a lot of traffic - the service was still quick and nice. I felt very well and would recommend it, especially for Vegans because it's the only alternative in Oberbai.
Just wanted a light lunch and many of the restaurants were serving main meals. This little restaurant looked bright and fresh. We sat outside along the busy pedestrian street. My husband had the tartine Munster - a bretzel with good quality ham, Munster cheese accompanied by a large salad with lots of different fresh ingredients and all for 10 euros. I had the tarte fromage blanc - the portion was enormous but it was so light in texture. Friendly service and obviously popular with locals.
This is a lovely little restaurant. The choice of vegetarian options is particularly impressive. The Alsatian cuisine is particularly meat heavy and it is very difficult to find a place in Alsace which has an extensive choice of vegetarian options. Definitely, try vegetarian choucroute. The service was quick and friendly.

The staff was very friendly and polite. It was a nice and small place for the local french. The food was great an typical Alsace and french. We had wine and Choucroute Alsacienne. And a lovely duck. For dessert the very tasting Profiteroles. The interieur is nice and familar with history. You feel very welcoming.
We had a tarte Alsace which was light crusted and tasty. It had a large amount of cheese on it in chunks but the taste was delicate and balanced. We also had nice soups that were very tasty. For the prices they were reasonalbe and satisfactory. I would go again
This place was a major highlight of the trip. Such great food. Staff were fab too. I had a wicked salad with duck and fois gras. It was so healthy and so yum. Decent portion and reasonable price. Man I wished I lived near by so I could visit more often.
We had lunch at this restaurant located at the center of the city. Menu offers a variety of dishes. We enjoyed food, especially the ravioli with ricotta and the mushroom tarte. There are many options for vegetarians.
