Please allow me to introduce: "La Ville De Lyon"!58 Years on this Earth tought me the quality of Chefs. "Stars" are very relative to me, as you can imagine. On the evening of August 15th 2017 was a complete surpise to me, gastronomic, detail, flavour, fresh, well educated and natural staff (very important), empathic......It was simply perfect! Compared to the colleague restaurants in Metz, this one makes a human and very tastfull differance. Please convince youreself and communicate this to your members, readers...It's something you cannot withhold them.My compliments to Chef Georges, you and your team are simply an artists!Thank you very much!Anastasia & Walter

I came back to Metz alone on business and had to come back here and was not disappointedI had the menu of the day which was a choice of 3 dishes for starter, main and desert coursesAll nice choices, the food was superb really nice dining area and the waitress and service was absolutely delightfulI saw that the €30,000 bottle of wine was still available and to the amusement of the waitress ordered it - she did jokingly mention that I should show her my credit card before handOnce again it looks the sort of place that would be beyond my budget but my total bill with wine came to €50.00If you get the chance and like fine food, come here

We had a business dinner here, and couldn't have had a better experience. Wait staff was appropriately attentive and responded to our request for quicker service. The menu was extraordinary French cuisine, and our group tried a wide variety of items with no one disappointed. First course of foie gras and rabbit meat jelly were particular favorites. Lobster risotto and duck breast were the hits from the main course. The lemon raspberry cake was superb! Be sure and catch the view of the back of Saint Stevens Cathedral when you exit. And be sure to walk through and see the quirky animals made from silverware all through the restaurant.

First night in Metz found this place had great meal and wines ,after dinner George the chef and owner asked us to stay and have champers with him and his sister ,and his head waiter all of whom were very nice people .Stayed until very late , George had made lots of light bites which were delicious .The building is very old and beautiful ,lots of character. As our French was limited, half the fun was looking up phrase book and drawing pictures .went back for lunch match day and this was another delight from George
