A L'Abri du Moulin

Having eaten at their previous restaurant in Gagnac we knew the food was going to be great... and of course it was! Their new restaurant in Beaulieu is spacious and beautifully decorated and makes for a comfortable and homely dining experience. The food is incredible, and great value with a choice of set menus which has something for everyone. We went on a Friday evening and between the 5 of us ordered medallion of pork, the steak, cod, the duck and the veal. All perfectly cooked and delicious, as were the starters, desserts and the cheese course. You can even get a menu du jour during the week. Great service, friendly staff and the owners, Karen and Marco are so welcoming! I can't recommend...

Our Belgian neighbour of 15 years took 15 friends to the Moulin for dinner on their anniversary. A great evening! Delicious Food and Wine, and Conversation. However we will remember the night especially for the floor show!! Cascades of Water outside and Fireworks inside and out, as one of the largest storms in recent years passed overhead.Traffic came to a standstill outside in the cascades of water and lightning lit it up, as the electricity in the restaurant went on and off and off finally! The kitchen managed, by the light of a night fisherman, to serve their menu! An experience enjoyed by all.... We will return

Perfect hosts, English and French speaking, very quick and efficient service, delicious food and very well priced menu. The fish was beautiful and the puddings were sublime. Having lived in the area for 40 years, this has to be one of the best places we have eaten at. We would recommend to anyone visiting. We will certainly be back soon

Stunning food, one of the best meals I have ever had in France. I have been coming to the area for over 25 years and have been coming to Karen's restaurant for a couple of years, this was my first evening meal. I must say the tasting menu rated better than some of the best I have ever been to around the world.

We had an exceptional dinner at The Moulin last week. Wonderful food, great ambience and exceptional value. I would definitely recommend the warm welcome received at this establishment to anyone in the area and have no hesitation in returning.

Absolutely delicious meal! All 4 people had chosen something different and all agreed: innovative menu combining great flavours, excellent ingredients, superbly prepared and served with a smile. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

One of the best meals in France. Strawberry Catastrophe was a brilliant end to a lovely meal. Grand Daughter ate everything including my son in laws dessert as well.

Had excellent dinner for two families, starter amazing and steak main was incredible followed by chocolate.....couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.
